ehehe, that's what all the crap players say.........nah, team ball wins games
anyway, i think Raps need to trade JYD for a player who is similar but is more reliable on offense. Vince can't do it all alone. Or maybe JYD can stay if Raps have a staring lineup of
G A Williams
G VC
F L Murray
F JYD
C A Davis
and have Bosh on the bench
Raptors Stats
You want the offense to go up, so you bench the second leading scorer?
I suggest getting a point guard who doesn't average 3.4ppg over 19.6min.
Next I would suggest getting someone who can't shoot the ball from the outside, like Carter can, but someone playing Forward (Morris Peterson seems to be this person but for some reason

)
I really believe Kevin O'Neill is a dud coach, people around the league help their friends by saying what a great coach they would be, O’Neill spent one season under Jeff Van Gundy in New York (2000-01) and the past two seasons with Rick Carlisle in Detroit, not exactly offensive minded coaches, good coaches yes, but not scorer first coaches, O'Neill doesn't have Patrick Ewing, Yao Ming or Jermaine O'Neal, he should coach like he has Vince Carter.
I know I am just some guy sitting at home and throwing this stuff out here, but seriously if Toronto were smart, they would have hired a coach who didn't learn form Rick Carlisle, they should have looked at Ben Wallace and said "We can't do what Carlisle did with Detroit." Antonio Davis has always been a banger, but he doesn't dive after loose balls and block many shots, this whole defense scheme is built around such players.
The closest thing Toronto has to a defensive player inside is Bosh, Chris Bosh should be the last player going to the bench except for Carter.
Why not play Jerome Moiso, who in the playoffs last season looked very good on defense and finished well around the hoop? Why sign him and leave him sitting there? This guy blocked 44 shots last year in 644 minutes (A.Davis has blocked 7 this year in 501 minutes) and got 3.5 rebounds in just 12.6 minutes, playing behind the likes of Elden Campbell for awhile, Jamaal Magloire and PJ Brown.
Who in the heck signed Mengke Bateer?
Michael Curry is always praised for his being the player's rep for the NBA and what a great leader he is, how about getting a rebound now and then?
This guy has grabbed 11 rebounds, dished 14 assists, managed 2 steals and not one block, what the hell does this dude bring other than some so-called leadership. Face it, it's talk, bring something or shut-up.
Look at the good players and build around them, keep Antonio Davis and his 9.6 rebs, keep JYD and his great hustle and 8.9 rebs, keep Vince Carter because he is awesome, and make Chris Bosh your second option on offense. Then screw everyone else, Alvin Williams? Mo Pete? Milt Palicio? Lamond Murray? What do they do for Toronto, Murray shoots 35% from the floor and has 18 assits in 14 games. Alvin Williams is gone, where he is I do not know. The GM of Toronto does Morris Peterson's laundry right in front of everyone, deal him already, throw him in with Alvin Williams and ask Chicago for Jamal Crawford, include a pick, do anything to get a guard that get a double now and then to free-up Bosh and Carter, one that create his own shot.
I could analize forever, I know I shouldn't do this and not mention that my team Boston, is horrible, poorly coached and in need of another scorer like there's no tomorrow, yes trading Antoine Walker for Raef LaFrentz is a bust, I can help it, it's true, Tonie busted his ass in the offseason to get in shape, he felt bad about not producing more and leading the C's and got in great shape, then Ainge tosses him off for Jiri Welsch who can't shoot, Raef LaFrentz and his huge contract and bad knee and Chris Mills? Delk I do not miss, he's so one-skilled it's nasty.
But those are my feelings on Toronto, they need a guard to create something for himself and others and a forward that take it to the basket, slashing type, not some one-skilled shooter like Peterson.
