what's better? live 06 or 07?

Postby gast on Tue Jul 29, 2008 4:22 pm

hi guys, im a dynasty player of nba live and i already gave up on nba live 08 since its dynasty bugs (simengine problems) seem unfixable

so right now, im choosing between live 06 or 07
what's better when it comes to dynasty gaming?
what version has less bugs and more realistic gameplay?

i've heard that that in 07 there is a fatigue issue and some frequent unrealistic freestyle plays that hurts in-game realism
what about in 06? does it have any bugs too? share your thoughts....

please enlighten me and thanks a lot

I'd go with Live 06 for dynasties. Live 07 will ignore your starters and play whoever it wants while simming.

No, there aren't any fixes for any of NBA Live 07's Dynasty issues.

Do that. 07's dynasty mode has more options, but it is just too flawed. At least, 06 works.

That's not entirely true. Your rotation will be used for a while, and then it will override them for some reason. I'm not sure if it has to do with a roster change or an injury, but if you set your rotation and try to simulate an entire season at once, eventually the game will reset your rotation to the "recommended %."

If you don't plan on simulating an entire season at once, you can check your rotation often so you can put it back to how you want it if it gets changed.

The biggest problem I have with Live 07's dynasty is the stat engine.

I prefer NBA Live 06 over NBA Live 07.
But it is up to you.
Download demos online if there are any.

Unfortunately there hasn't been a PC demo since NBA Live 2003.

Without question. That's not to say it's perfect but of the three games it has the least amount of simengine issues.

I guess that comes into play at some point but in terms of the issues with the game itself - bugs, simengine inaccuracies, etc - it has nothing to do with your PC and if you can run either game, those are the factors that matter most.
