This is terrible news, May God bless his life and his family, my thoughts and prayers are with them. A group should get together and finish his work. I think that would be a great tribute to him.

He was here often so obviously its something that he enjoyed doing. So his work or mod should carry on. Since we are not getting anymore Live PC titles, we are going to need the update the game yearly.

Every Total Mod from here on out should be recognized as the "Official Papa Jack NBA LIVE 20XX Project. This man spend precious minutes and hours of his life working on patches for our enjoyment, its the least that can be done.

R.I.P PAPA, may you have eternal happiness. I salute you (Y)

I second this. My deepest prayers go out to his family and friends. I haven't been here long but I could see from the beginning that this is a very tight patching community who loves the game, and I can imagine Papa Jack felt the same way. Sometimes we take life for granted and we can be taken at a moment's notice. It sucks that it has to be this way. He may have been on the other side of the world but it didn't feel like it. R.I.P. After all the sad moments and crucial situation has passed, I say we move on at full speed to finish this patch as a tribute to papa_jack.

The best thing to do would be to continue this project with 200% determination from all team members.

I think Kris should take over from papa_jack as he is always the man in charge when papa_jack couldn't make it to NLSC. papa_jack had always gave Kris his trust and I say we do the same thing.

It's nothing but terrible to hear such news, but the show must go on.. the important thing is to always remember this great man and not forget him, papa_jack.

What a loss, makes you realize what a precious thing life is. I didn't know him well but PapaJack helped me out a few times, never made me feel stupid about any of the dumb questions I asked. My condolences to his family and those he left behind, until we meet again.

Think what papa jack's is planning/doing if he is still alive.
I guess he's doing his best to do some patches for this thread.
So we better continue them.
I hope Paolo can upload his other files so that we can continue and develop them.

I told him that they must change the FIBA teams to Olympics teams [Beijing].
