I don't know, Peterson seemed to (yet again) revert to old habits while playing in a contract year. Although he's not a very skilled ballhandler, he's usually a very agressive slasher that can finish in the paint due to his size and athleticism. I barely saw any of that this year, he mostly just parked behind the corner three pointer line and jacked it up, which was a problem a few years ago.
I also noticed that he didn't utilize his mid-range game. Last season he showed a lot of confidence playing at around the top of the key area and was money from that area. That mid range jumper was something up until last year I've never seen Peterson hit, and he suprised me with the consistentcy of that shot last season. Now he's sort of gone away from all the things that helped him get his career year last year, which is frustrating but I guess you can always blame the lack of minutes and the unexplained preference of Graham over Peterson by Mitchell.
