I don't know, Peterson seemed to (yet again) revert to old habits while playing in a contract year. Although he's not a very skilled ballhandler, he's usually a very agressive slasher that can finish in the paint due to his size and athleticism. I barely saw any of that this year, he mostly just parked behind the corner three pointer line and jacked it up, which was a problem a few years ago.

I also noticed that he didn't utilize his mid-range game. Last season he showed a lot of confidence playing at around the top of the key area and was money from that area. That mid range jumper was something up until last year I've never seen Peterson hit, and he suprised me with the consistentcy of that shot last season. Now he's sort of gone away from all the things that helped him get his career year last year, which is frustrating but I guess you can always blame the lack of minutes and the unexplained preference of Graham over Peterson by Mitchell.

No.
Saunders tried to use him as a spot up shooter, but he isnt.

Wasn't their speculation either last year or mid year that Peterson was coming to Detroit, i really like him and we need something off the bench at SF that would've been a great move Mo-pete for Delfno and maybe someone else, sucks it didn't happen and Mo-Pete is an adequate 3pt shooter but simply no Reggie Miller or Larry bird or even Peja from behind the arc so he needs to worry his time on his better skills. I'd rather Mo Pete......sure Hill is the better player but Mo Pete is an iron man whereas Hill can, and will, break down at any time.

you guys hear the ridiculous proposal of Marion for 2 starters + 15 + 27? I wouldn't trade ANY starter for Marion straight up, let alone 2 and our future. Who wants a guy that annually fades in the postseason, can't anchor a defense, and can't play HC?

Haha, can't stop laughing at that...
Now I remember that there was a time indeed when NY was pretty much in all trade rumors every summer...

If you weren't McDyess or Hunter you weren' playing off the bench in Detroit!!! Great Trade for Toronto!!! Dumars probably needs the extra cash

I read that the Pistons might have done this, because the Bucks are willing to offer a big contract to Billups. While it would be nice to be able to land Billups, im not so sure we should stock a pile of money into an aging player like him. We could go after someone like Gerald Wallace instead. But as for the Pistons, i think they are just clearing room so they have no doubts in having enough cash to resign Billups.
