If somebody wants to enter the draft and play for a good team, isn't it better to be the last pick of the lottery rather than the first? Then you'd be on a team that wasn't a total joke while still getting guaranteed money. The only reason I can think of that being first would be better is if you get significantly more money at that spot.
I'm preparing for the Celtics to somehow get the fourth pick so I can simultaneously be depressed and laugh at all the idiots who think tanking a season for a freaking 50% shot at a top-two pick is a good idea.
