After suffering two straight defeats, loosing was not an option for the travelling Hornets. But the Miami Haet are no push-overs and after suffering a 37 point blowout last time the teams met, winning was not the only thing on the line in this game.
Carlos Boozer was the highest scoring player on the court wih 19 buckets. He also puled dwon 7 rebounds after all-round good defensive work by his Hornets teammates. Boozer again shot 100% from the field, proving to be an absolutely illustrious signing. "When I'm on the court, I dont think about percentages, statistics, money, fame; I just play basketball - what I was bought in to do".
Dwyane Wade, who got 34 points and 16 assists last encounter was kept quite. New Orleans came into the game planning to double up on Wade whenever he got the ball, they did just that, resulting in Dwyane getting 13 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. The Heat's high point man was Small-Forward Antoine Walker. With 15 points he helped his Miami team close out a 9 point deficit in the fourth quarter.
Chris Paul didn't have the best personal performance, with 14 points and 7 assists, the whole basketball world knows the Point-Guard out of Wake Forest can give more. "What matters is the team won. One man isn't a team." The statement that really sums up the attitude in the New Orleans camp after they got back to winning ways in Miami.
