Anyway, I can really see him going to Miami and playing with alongside the other "stars" who couldn't win anything on their own. If Larry Brown was still Detroits coach I'd say Rose in Detroit isn't even a possible, but with Flip trying to make them more offensive it COULD happen but I don't see a need for it on their part.

They have youth with Amare, Barbosa, Diaw, Veterans still in their prime with Nash and Marion, and some solid players like Bell, Rose, Banks and Thomas. But I see Diaw one of their stars going after this season, they just can't afford having Marion, Nash, Stoudemire, Diaw, Barbosa and Bell on the same team. Considering they signed Barbosa to an extension it might be Diaw or Bell who will leave the time after the next season.

That is one of the most assanine things I have ever read. Phoenix has a great system and a point guard that runs the system perfectly, but they are far far away from the best roster in the NBA much less the best since the Bulls/ Lakers teams.

Um, I don't think any of those guys would start for any team in the entire league, except for Bell and MAYBE Diaw. All of those guys (except Rose) are perfect examples of products of a system, they are all role players on any team at best.
eisfeld wrote:I haven't said that they are a better trio or even a better team. I just said that the Phoenix lineup is very impressive player-wise but I don't think they will be as successful as other teams. The lineup itself reads itself as a mix of all-stars and future stars. That's all I said
