Postby Amphatoast on Mon Aug 28, 2006 11:24 am

PF- K. Garnett
SF- Finley/ Grant Hill... hard to think of 1.. hill career been injuried

PG- Kidd (only his J is critized..no question he makes teams/players better and shows what a real pg is)

alltime

C- Ewing
PF- Malone/ Barkley
SF- ?
SG-REggie Miller
PG- Stockton

I've made my picks similar to the All-NBA teams, disregarding specific position in some cases and naming a centre, two guards and two forwards. I've also nominated a Sixth Man spot.

Current

C: Dikembe Mutombo
F: Kevin Garnett
F: Grant Hill
G: Allen Iverson
G: Jason Kidd

Sixth Man: Michael Finley

All-Time

C: Patrick Ewing
F: Karl Malone
F: Charles Barkley
G: Reggie Miller
G: John Stockton

Sixth Man: Dominique Wilkins

Current

C: Dikembe Mutombo
F: Kevin Garnett
F: Grant Hill
G: Allen Iverson
G: Penny Hardaway! (well not really current, but kinda)

Sixth Man: Michael Finley

All-Time

C: Patrick Ewing
F: Karl Malone
F: Charles Barkley
G: Reggie Miller
G: John Stockton

Sixth Man: Dominique Wilkins

lol notice how all the all-time guys were taken down by Jordan in the early/late 90's... I think Payton/Zo would be up there too if they hadn't won this year.

Probably the MVP of non-ring players is Kevin Garnett, he's currently the best player without a ring because of the situation in Minnesota.

Who are you, a double post monkey?

What about Stackhouse, Ray Allen, Nash and Paul Pierce?

If Sprewell wanted it that badly, I think he would have accepted a smaller contract.

Paul Pierce hasnt been in the NBA ten years, but I'd be willing to put Ray Allen and Steve Nash on that list....

He wants 10+ year veterans, so that cuts the selection down to a handful.

Very True, Dominique is widely considered the one of the best players who was not voted into the NBA's greatest 50, among guys like Kobe and Tim Duncan.

Darko has a ring, but D-Wade's the first '03 player to earn his.

Carmelo Anthony has a pretty good chance of ending up here.

Kobe and Tim Duncan aren't in the NBA's 50 Greatest Players, the league chose the 50 during the ?'96-'97? season. Why should Kobe and Tim be added then when Kobe was still a rookie and Duncan wasn't even in the NBA.
