This is one of the biggest reasons why I didn't want Miami to win...

I don't know why one championship makes Wade comparable to Jordan, or to Kobe for that matter. Kobe was just as spectatular, but more skilled and actually defended somebody in the Lakers three peat era.
Some of what you're writing is valid and fair. Other teams complained about MJ and we were glad we had him. On the other hand, Wade averaged 16 free throw attempts per game in this Finals. In 1996, already established as the greatest player on earth, Jordan averaged 11.2 FTA/game and in 1997 it was 9.2. He never came close to averaging 16 per game.
Jordan:
Yr........fta/ game (entire playoffs)
1991....8.7
1992....8.6
1993....7.2
1996....10.4
1997....7.8
1998....10.6
Wade's fta/game (entire playoffs)
1996....10.9
SO: This year Wade not only averaged more FTA/game (16.2) for the Finals than MJ ever did in his career (by a longshot), but he averaged more FTA/ game over an entire playoffs than Jordan ever did during the Bulls' championship years.
ALSO: Wade averaged 10.7 FTA/game for the entire 2005-06 SEASON. Here are MJ's regular-season averages during the championship years:
Yr......fta/g
1991..8.2
1992..7.4
1993..7.3
1995..8.0
1996..8.0
1997..7.0
1998..8.8
So while I agree that MJ got star treatment and now Wade is getting star treatment:
(1) Wade is not MJ (at least not yet, and I don't think ever);
(2) even MJ didn't get THIS kind of star treatment, not even at the pinnacle of his career (which Wade had not reached);
