Oh No!! I'm Sorry the Pacers haven't sacrificed more to make your short minded self happy with player movement. Its so horrible that you should have to focus on actual basketball and not players going to different cities. I really do deeply feel for you, and I'm sure Donnie and Larry do to.j.23 wrote:I really hope they trade him for george and kwame -- would work for both teams too.
You can give up on a trade like that happening. If that was a trade that would happen, it would have happened already.
We are either getting an All Star, or Ron will be on the roster untill the end of the season, and we will trade him for an all star in the offseason.

It sucks for the players. They've been betrayed by Artest and now the roster is somewhat in limbo. I think they believe in their GM and Coach, who are amongt the best in the league. Plus last year the team used Artest's absence as a rallying cry and I don't see this year being any different.

How have they been betrayed by Artest?

A great deal had to do with the fact that Artest hurt his team last year with that brawl and made promises that he was going to come back and bring Indiana a championship. The entire team stuck by Artest and defended him throughout the whole last season, and now they feel betrayed because the guy wanted out, and in public. This obviously pissed off management and the Pacers players. Artest had been a distraction and a problem in the past couple years, and this was the last straw for Donnie. If he was desparate to get rid of him, Artest would've been gone by now.
Judging by that, the offers musn't be very good. Theres no way the Pacers will get equal value for him, so why are they trying? The longer this goes on not only does it hurt the chances of them getting any sort of value in return, but it hurts the current pacer team.
