3-4 or 3-5 from 3 point line one was in and out. Then there was the one from 65 feet.

Villaneuva played decently for his first outing. 11 points, 6 rebounds and 3 of them were on the offensive end. If Villaneuva keeps this up, then I think our reobunding problems might not be as big as last year's. The only problem was that he shot 1 of 5 from three. I'm not really thrilled that Villaneuva settled for so many perimeter shots, but he did mix it up from time to time.

Graham also played well. He only got 7 points, but he had 5 rebounds to go with that. He got schooled by Jamison all game long but he did show flashes of being a good defender and had some good defensive plays. His dribbling and shooting off the dribble definitely need more work though, that's for sure.

Jose Calderon. Wowsers. I love the way he plays, it's got such a European flair to it and he's so quick. His stats don't show it, but he led a pretty big second quarter charge that got us the lead after the second quarter. You can already tell he's a very good pass-first floor general.

I'm thrilled with what all the rookies have done for the Raptors so far.

I think my dream of McCants winning rookie of the year is fading away if they continue at this rate. He's barely getting minutes early in the season and I really dont understand because Hassel is not really that good. I am wondering if the coach just doesnt like to rely on the young players but I will remain optimistic and hopefully he will get some minutes in the foreseeable future.

It's sooo early but Chris Paul & Bogut are is leading the way...

Good to see Deron & Jasik up there anyway even though they are on very good teams with vets.

Notably absent: Charlie V, Marvin Williams...and what's with Raymond Felton's .294 FG%?!?! No wonder he's not getting minutes.

He is playing a decent amount of minutes. Hassell is better than McCants and is probably a top 5 defender in the league. Offensively, Hassell is extremely underrated. He can hit the open jumper and he can attack the basket.

The reason why McCants only played 4 minutes against Seattle is because Casey wanted him to keep his confidence up. He didn't want him to go against Ray Allen in his 2nd career game.

Last night, McCants looked good and had a few good defensive and offensive plays. I think as time goes on and McCants learns the NBA and Casey's system he'll get more playing time. He's too talented not to.
