Alalyst??

My favourite Analyst would have to be Bill Walton.. mainly for the stupid shit he says all the time  I mean any guy that throws his shoe during a game deserves to be an analyst

Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.

The analysts on "Inside the NBA" on TNT are my faves.

Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson

I think Tim Legler is pretty good. Greg Anthony isn't bad, Charles Barkley is the only other one I can stand, and he's freakin hilarious.

I like Brent Musburger(sp?) he makes every game sound like its a life or death situation.
Hubie Brown is good just cause the game is real easy when he tells what play is coming and Al Michaels is just awesome at any sport.

I guess everyone agrees with me when I say Steven A. Smith isn't even close to the Top 10 . Anyways my favorite is Charles Barkley , funny guy there. Basically the whole TNT crew.

Jack Armstrong!!!! and the TNT guys are pretty good...
the worst would be Bill Walton, some one needs to fire him. He tries too hard, and it's not paying off.

dick vitale stopped doing nba games in the late 80's/early 90's i believe

maybe he's referring to DICK STOCKTON? though he's more of a play by play guy

doug collins and hubie brown are the best in the biz. they know a great deal about the game and they don't have to yell to let you know.

this new wave of nba analysts seem more like entertainers first, nba analyst 2nd

Legler and Anthony use a good mix of basketball insight and humour during ESPN broadcasts, which kind of makes up for Steven A. Smith's attempts to be funny, insightful and controversial all at once (and failing miserably).
