how am i saying the opposite?
what makes him great is his playing ability and size, not publicly chiding his teammates
if shaq was a true leader (and show that he has some class), he wouldn't publicly ridicule his teammates or quesiton coaching decisions like he did/does
it's wrong to applaud shaq when he deflects the responsibility to other players when his team loses
sorry for the confusion. hehe my goggle comment was directed towards jackal: don't compare shaqs problems with his teammates to jordan's and his; they are nowhere near the same level.
lol gloveguy... you're just fanning the flames. the espn/nba propaganda machine is getting to you. if you want watch rivals bitch at each other, watch the WWF, or the WWE or whatever it's called now.
i'd much rather want to see a true rivalry like the detroit-indiana one. you want to see players that have a true disdain for each other- watch that one. they're not just going to bitch in the press, they go at it on the court and it's not a distraction/takes away from the game (up until the artest going into the stands). the storyline is the game itself, unlike this lame shaq-kobe thing where the media is looking for any kind of sound bite. even sprewell's returns to MSG are more exciting/have more substance then this shaq-kobe thing
i don't know why shaq gets a break for being 'shaq'. there is a comedic element in them but also some venom included when it comes to teammates. at least charles barkley's conroversial comments had to do more with race or just something stupid rather then his teammates
