I just don't get how the sixers can always get off to a good start and just get trounced in the end. I checked in on the score with 11:24 left in 4th, and the raptors already had 99. I just don't get it.

The Raptors also tied their franchise high in points with 128 points in the game, and they also beat the NBA team record of three's made [19] by making 21 three's in the game.

Marshall could've beat the record of three's made if Milt Palacio and Pape Sow weren't so selfish :P

I watched it, and it wasn't all Donyell. He did have a very good game, but at least 10 of the 3's he attempted were not contested at all. Philly basically stopped defending him. Neither Dalembert or Webber stayed on him when he would back out so he had open looks the whole night. You would think that after he started the game 5/5 from 3 that they might pay some attention to him.

Yeah, except Donyell said it best, "They are predicated on stopping you in the paint and making you shoot outside jump shots. When you have a coach taht preaches that style they're goign to keep doing that no matter what."

So he didn't break it? Also, once he tied it, were there any potential record breakers that he missed? :?: Curiousity!!

WHOA, this was amazing!

I wanted him to break it, but, I'm glad nonetheless.

Good for him, now the only thing that's missing is Donyell going to a good team. (Y)

I believe there was two shots he rushed that could have broken the record. So he was 12-16 at one point.

He disappeared briefly after his rookie season but resurrected his career in 1997 and has become a solid veteran forward. His stock has certainly risen after the trade to Utah back in 2000.

He got lucky, that's all :x Nah, good for him, and the Raptors. Webber is an asshole. He said to Marshall "If you keep getting those looks, go for the record"

This is great for him!

But for me.. its also making me hope Kobe will be motivated to go on a fluke three point streak.. and then a few gaems later- 40+ point game streak! well.. thats what happened back in the day...

But great stuff by Marshall!
