I was positive, so much that if I had to, I would've bet my life on it, but I was wrong. So many rumors, I'm probably getting PP confused with another superstar/all-star 2. Probably Ray Allen.

PP's supporting cast has also gone down the drain, was well as the coaching. Losing Walker was a huge blow, considering the leader he was, and also the fact that it really screwed over Obie ball. The full value for the deal is only coming back this year with LaFrentz healthy, and even more leadership was lost when Ainge traded away Battie and Williams. Davis was the most consistent Celtic player in the last few months, but he doesn't fit into Obie ball...but Ainge did deny that PP is moving, but hey, that's what he did with Walker...

Furthermore, I don't know if y'all have seen the report about the three team trade involving the Knicks and Mavs. It's bullshit. I've seen the salaries worked out in this proposed trade, and it is impossible.

Richard Peddie is, I'm not sure of his position, but he is a high up dude in the Raptors like head of operations or something. But I believe he is part of the MLSE because he also runs the Leafs. Basically, he is a tool for the teacher's pension fund in Ontario - money from the Raptors goes into the pension fund of teachers. So he knows nothing of basketball - and is one of the main reason why the Raptors have sucked so much and are like one big disfunctional family. He is also the reason why Vince has supposedly requested a trade - according to Vince's friends, Peddie told him a) He would consult him before a GM and coach were hired and b) That he would persue Canadian's Nash and Magloire (who Vince wanted to play for the Raptors). Turns out he never told Vince anything about the hirings, and never even made an attempt to even look at Nash or Magloire.

Hopefully, Peddie is either fired or his contract is allowed to run out.

i agree with you bro.. peddie is fcuking up things for us.. dispite all the additions (or lack of) to toronto basketball this will still (and always) be a hockey town. with that said i dont see MLSE (mapleleaf sports ent.) investing lots of money into the raptors. with the upcoming nhl lockout hopefully management will be able to spend more on the raptors.

also to add to that magloire/nash coming to canada. it would never happen. toronto has no money to make those big moves. thats also a reason why we drafted araujo. in the past we wasted it on dumb signings.. remember yogi? we were 2 picks away from magloire being ours at the draft. had he been available, oh man i cant even imagine the type of team we would be. it would have been nice to even hear media quotes that toronto was courting magloire or nash. i think that would have shown vince our gm's commitment to improvment.

I don't think Arujo is going to start. Babcock mentioned that at first they were planning to give him about 10 min/game. Although, he is playing quite well in the summer league. I think he may be what the raps need. I saw a video of him, he fought off this one guy, ripped the ball from another guy who was taking it from him, and went for the shot and a third guy grabbed him and pulled him down... (he took about 5 steps lol) he got so mad he swung his arm and accidentally punched the guy in the face and I think he knocked him out. I wish I still had the link...

I wouldn't mind Moiso starting if he could play the way he did for those few games where he was averaging double doubles and playing amazingly However, I've heard the Raps are going after Willis, and now I've heard they're going after my man Keon Clark.

I think either Marshall or Rose is going to come off the bench. I think Marshall would make a great bench player. On the other hand, it might be better to have Rose sub in for either Carter or Rafer, and have Marshall start at SF and see how he performs there.

really depends how much the hornets were willing to sign mo-pete for.. personally i wouldn't really care, i'd try to find someone else to sign, i used to like mo pete but he's just too inconsistent.. he is a good defender though

Sorry not happening, and Mo-Pete could likely start with the uncertainty of Jamal Mashburn, it's even possible for him to take aging David Wesely's spot in the starting lineup if Mash is back, and they can make DW a 6th man.
