3.6 Virtual Memory

NBA 2K12 requires virtual memory to run properly. If your virtual memory settings are not correct, you may experience stability problems.
To configure virtual memory:
On Windows XP
- From the start menu, open Settings/Control Panel.
- Double click the System icon.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Click on the Performance/Settings button.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Click on the Virtual memory/Change button.
- Select the drive that NBA 2K12 is installed on.
- Select the "System managed size" radio button in the "Paging file size for selected drive".
- Click the Set button.
- Click OK multiple times to return to the desktop.
On Windows Vista
- From the start menu, open Settings/Control Panel.
- Select System and Maintenance.
- Select System.
- Select Advanced System Settings.
- Click on the Performance/Settings button.
- Select the Advanced tab
- Click on the Virtual memory/Change button.
- Check "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives"
- Click OK multiple times to return to the desktop.

Due to the way xbox uses it's cache, I don't think they would be able to retain that data. They should be able to do that on the PC since there is no limit to save file data and the game doesn't delete the cache, it just overwrites it.

1.Cheat Engine

WRITTEN TUTORIAL
----------------
1.Download and Install Cheat Engine
2.Open CrashFix in Cheat Engine
3.Pause the game with about 3 seconds left in the 1st/3rd quarter
4.Press the button in the top left of Cheat Engine
5.Find nba2k12 and press open
6.Change the value to 2
7.Skip all the halftime ads
8.Pause the game after the halftime ads are gone
9.Change the value to either 2(just finished 1st quarter) or 4(just finished 3rd quarter)
10.Repeat steps 3-9 every game
