Just wait till allan houston regains his form
vin baker and tim thomas start producing
and deke gets off the ir
they have depth, and veterans who can produce in all facets of the game
penny, baker, anderson, and morris are pretty decent options off the bench
allan houston's last 3 games have been right on par with his averages, if not better
can you then name any other roleplayer on the knicks roster that has better averages than kurt thomas this season???
the knicks need more from penny than being a decent option off the bench
allan houston is earning more than kobe... he should be giving better numbers every night...
what are you expecting? the old penny? penny can give good minutes off the pine at multiple positions and is reliable enough to be in at the end of games. that's good enough for me
his salary is not the issue here. earlier you're saying 'can we wait forever' for him to regain his form when he's already had a string of games where he's hitting his averages. take your salary issue with your former GM. he's the one that gave houston that ridiculously huge contract
the reason he is starting is because there is no other roleplayer on the team that can contribute as good as he does..
isnt it pretty obvious what i am expecting??
his salary is an issue here... if he does not take that much cap space the knicks could still get better players....
and the only good move isiah did was get stephon and trde weatherspoon..
he hired the losingest coach in NBA history....
no- it's not a matter of finding someone better then him. kurt thomas is starting because he is a quality big man. i think with the exception of about 6 teams, he would be starting as the pf or c on every nba team
and the nba's all-time winningest coach. even if wilkens style may not fit anymore with today's players, isiah could have done a whole lot worse
how about that tim thomas performance last nite?
i am impressed but i dont think their chances this season are very good and that is what i am arguing about idiot...
but isiah's style would fit today's players... isiah would do a lot better than wilkens...
Actually you were saying they were pretty bad. I projected them to finish 6th, and you totally disagreed. 6th in the east is not that great...
Isiah doesn't want to coach and be the gm
Lenny wilkens is a players coach
he is one of the top 5 coaches in nba history imo
He was as big of a steal for the knicks as maybe getting stephon from the suns.
cleveland is built for the playoffs and indiana is built for the regular season
