Wade is amazing, a point guard shooting close to 48% and scoring 17 ppg is un-heard of these days.
His numbers aren't far away from Lebron and Melo's, and he's got a very good all-round game. Many people seem to think b/c he's had his 3 years in college (didn't play one year) he's so much older than them, but he's only 2 years older.
I see him progessing in the future and being a guy that can score 20-25 ppg. His handles and passing I think will also improve, and he'll be a 20, 6 and 6 player. His rebounding I think will get better, and when he learns more his passing will also improve.
On the defensive end he's aleady a very aggressive player, and if he continues this he's be a great defensive player. Wade is 6'43/4 but his 6'103/4 wingspan allows him to get blocks and steals, and his amazing quickness allows him to keep up with offensive players. He has the quickness of the quickest point guards, the size and strength of a 2 guard, and with his wingspan he plays like he's about 6'7 or 6'8.
He also has underated atheleticism and dunking ability, the guy has posterized a lot of people this season. When he goes to the basket he is able to absorb contact and still finish, and unlike many other players he does what he's best at which is slashing, and doesn't try to be a three point bomber. (Lebron you need to hear this buddy)
The ROY is probably out of reach for him though, Lebron has the hype, Melo has the popularity b/c of Denver's winning, and Wade just isn't given as much credit from the media.
If it was the last three years that he came in, he would probably have won it but coming in the same draft as Melo and Lebron killed it for him.
