1up.com is running a weeklong exclusive feature on NBA Jam, covering the history of the series and providing a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the latest game. Before working on NBA Jam, EA Vancouver experimented with different art styles for a game codenamed "Bounce."

Yeah, some interesting concepts though I like that they ultimately went with a re-boot of NBA Jam. The first article was a pretty good read, I'd highly recommend Jam fans check it out.
