weeklong exclusive feature on NBA Jam, covering the history of the series and providing a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the latest game. The first article is titled
The Rise, Fall, and Return of NBA Jam and takes a look at the origins of the franchise, its early success and later decline and its revival by EA Sports.

Before working on NBA Jam, EA Vancouver experimented with different art styles for a game codenamed "Bounce."

Not bad. I wouldn't mind playing with player models like that.

Yeah, some interesting concepts though I like that they ultimately went with a re-boot of NBA Jam. The first article was a pretty good read, I'd highly recommend Jam fans check it out.

Glad to hear I made a worthy recommendation.

The story behind the Midway/Acclaim split was certainly interesting to read.
