Are you playing with a custom AIACT file? If so, that could be the problem as I believe the game will crash unless both players are using the same customised file.

no i am not. its the same aiact file. if it does change the aiact, i have a backup and i copy and paste just in case it dont work and i still get disconneted before tip off when playing online. i just have to reinstall the whole thing over i guess.

You again? :P I thought it was always the aiact, but I think another possible reason for the multiplayer problem is because we modify the VIV files instead of just putting files in the sgsm directory. Why don't you copy your entire Live installation to another folder, and use that one to play with SUM when your not playing online. If all you do is play online, then your probably out of luck. I've only successfully completed one game without disconnecting, so I don't try it much. SUM really isn't made with multiplayer in mind.

One little thing you could try first is to change the camera file back to default by getting it from the DVD, assuming that you installed the camera since it is optional. Get these two files - nbacam.mgd and nbarepl.mgd.

When you had SUM V1 installed, were you ever able to fix your multiplayer problem?

SUM V2 didn't contain an aiact.

--Don't forget to come to the authors of the mod when you have a problem. Sorry that I didn't notice this post in time.

Were you ever able to get it working with the original NBA Live 07 AIACT? That jumper thing was definitely an aiact problem, but if you can't even get to the tipoff, I bet it's the camera.

You can replace it with the original off the dvd. It's in one of the compressed.zip files in the merlin folder. nbacam.mgd and nbarepl.mgd are the two files you need. If you just delete the files, you won't be able to play.
