Pennt Hardaway is going to pwn Smush Parker and Jason Williams for the starting point guard spot. Then he'll drop 20-4-6 like the good 'ol days with Shaq.

The Heat will then go 0-82 though. I don't like them.

Well, at least that's my prediction.

The ancient Heat have replaced an aging Eddie Jones with someone even older and more injury prone. Solid move.

I really, really hope he can contribute in some way on the court but it doesnt seem likely. I cant fault him for wanting to make a last ditch effort at ending his career properly.

I hope John Aemiechi(sp?) comes back as well, just so he can elbow that bigoted, homophobic asshole called Penny Hardaway in the face.

I have a feeling you're thinking of Tim Hardaway.

it was funny how tim hardway commented on gays. and funny he can think it was penny who said it...

i will root for penny now just cuz wade's on his team. hope wade can make teammates better this year. when they won it was shaq who made wade better, so hoping wade can do vice versa to penny and shaq this year.

If Hardaway stays healthy I think he can contribute to the Heat. He never was a player who relied heavy on athleticism anyway so his age shouldn´t be that much of a problem.

I really wanted memphis to give him a chance, but they didn't. I'll actually try to keep up with the Heat now just to see how Penny is playing. He is my all-time favorite player despite the injuries. I got a chance to see him play alot in my HS gym during this league my coach built and he was real solid. He got dunked on by one of my old teammates though who plays for Austin Peay. So, if he's getting dunked on by HS youngsters, I hope he doesn't get killed in the NBA.

hey he's back to conversewade 2.0 again!

on topic, its good to see Penny back and able to play again. I hope he'll be able to contribute in a way, if his signing was not for veteran leadership in the locker room. i hope he stays healthy and can last this year.

Penny is back :D

He was my favorite player when I began watching NBA.

If he can be as good as he was when he played in Orlando with Shaq the heat will have another ring

All these teams don't know what to do LOL, signing all these old players, How come no one is signing Scottie Pippen? Maybe the Heat should do that as wel, he was in the Western Conference Finals like 6-7 years ago, he can still contribute!!!

Not sold on none of these old guys coming back, All these teams going OLD when most teams are young, the young guys should show them who's time it is!! Watch Atlanta and Charlotte make the playoffs because of these moves

Only the teams thqat have a short window for success are going old, sych as the heat and celtics.

Anyway, if the did indeed choose penny over payton that is a shame because at this point in theor respective careers, payton is the obviously better player.

The NLSC should have an emoticon for "dying of laughter" or anything similar.
