Pennt Hardaway is going to pwn Smush Parker and Jason Williams for the starting point guard spot. Then he'll drop 20-4-6 like the good 'ol days with Shaq.
The Heat will then go 0-82 though. I don't like them.
Well, at least that's my prediction.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 11:28 am
The ancient Heat have replaced an aging Eddie Jones with someone even older and more injury prone. Solid move.
I really, really hope he can contribute in some way on the court but it doesnt seem likely. I cant fault him for wanting to make a last ditch effort at ending his career properly.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 11:40 am
I hope John Aemiechi(sp?) comes back as well, just so he can elbow that bigoted, homophobic asshole called Penny Hardaway in the face.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 11:42 am
wow... anfernee...
now can we have reggie miller and allan houston back?
Fri Aug 10, 2007 11:43 am
Andrew must be feeling pretty cool right now. They're all coming back.

I have a feeling you're thinking of Tim Hardaway.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 11:59 am
yeah tim is the one with a problems with gay people(at least he made it public, i am sure there are alot more)
anyway its funny to see shaq and penny back together, thier careers have come full circle, unfortunatly for penny they took different circles lol.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 12:14 pm
hell yeah. i'll be rooting for them again this year... hope Penny gets his ring. it would be a shame if they won, cuz I wanted to see eddie jones get his too.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 12:31 pm
well if penny and jones wanted rings they shoulda went to boston.........
Fri Aug 10, 2007 12:49 pm
it was funny how tim hardway commented on gays. and funny he can think it was penny who said it...
i will root for penny now just cuz wade's on his team. hope wade can make teammates better this year. when they won it was shaq who made wade better, so hoping wade can do vice versa to penny and shaq this year.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 1:21 pm
I hope Penny could contribute many points

Whoops. My bad.
In that case, I do not hope Aemeichi returns. Dude sucked.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 2:30 pm
Well Gary Payton in that case will retire. These signings mean it's a blurry way to another season.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 3:23 pm
If Hardaway stays healthy I think he can contribute to the Heat. He never was a player who relied heavy on athleticism anyway so his age shouldn´t be that much of a problem.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 3:27 pm
I really wanted memphis to give him a chance, but they didn't. I'll actually try to keep up with the Heat now just to see how Penny is playing. He is my all-time favorite player despite the injuries. I got a chance to see him play alot in my HS gym during this league my coach built and he was real solid. He got dunked on by one of my old teammates though who plays for Austin Peay. So, if he's getting dunked on by HS youngsters, I hope he doesn't get killed in the NBA.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 4:58 pm
I heard that his contract is UNguaranteed.Smush's was guaranteed.Don't know why Penny's not.
Fri Aug 10, 2007 9:27 pm
hey he's back to conversewade 2.0 again!
on topic, its good to see Penny back and able to play again. I hope he'll be able to contribute in a way, if his signing was not for veteran leadership in the locker room. i hope he stays healthy and can last this year.

Penny is back
He was my favorite player when I began watching NBA.
If he can be as good as he was when he played in Orlando with Shaq the heat will have another ring

Umm... right.
Sat Aug 11, 2007 4:15 am
screw that, if he can be as good as he was in blue chips then the heat got the ring sealed up
Sat Aug 11, 2007 4:41 am
All these teams don't know what to do LOL, signing all these old players, How come no one is signing Scottie Pippen? Maybe the Heat should do that as wel, he was in the Western Conference Finals like 6-7 years ago, he can still contribute!!!
Not sold on none of these old guys coming back, All these teams going OLD when most teams are young, the young guys should show them who's time it is!! Watch Atlanta and Charlotte make the playoffs because of these moves
Sat Aug 11, 2007 4:57 am
Your terrible overexeraggeration amuses me.
Sat Aug 11, 2007 5:07 am
Only the teams thqat have a short window for success are going old, sych as the heat and celtics.
Anyway, if the did indeed choose penny over payton that is a shame because at this point in theor respective careers, payton is the obviously better player.
Sat Aug 11, 2007 6:08 am
penny is not a point anymore anyway, you will see him in the 2 alot more

The NLSC should have an emoticon for "dying of laughter" or anything similar.
This one:

is pretty stale.
