OK, I'll take the patch of course, but I don't understand their response to an issue I submitted to the petition:
Q. Jab steps (and other pivot moves) triggers a freestyle move.
A: This also is working as designed. The right analog controls a player's freestyle dribbling while the left analog controls a player's movement. If the left analog is moved while using the right analog a player will transition from a jab step to a dribble move (Freestyle move).
It's not supposed to transition from a jab step to a Freestyle move, the player is supposed to take a quick first step and whichever direction you move the left analog stick. I was really looking forward to this being fixed, but it doesn't seem that it was properly understood. I don't think they interpreted the meaning of a jab step properly.
EDIT: They must have checked out my video of the bug, which looks terribly silly, so I'm not sure why there would be any confusion.
# Added a Fatigue Effect On/Off option in general gameplay options
I wish they had just made it a slider like last year, but this is better than nothing.
Q. After calling a play, there's an inability to see where to set up plays.
A: This is working as it is supposed to. We made an improvement this year so that you no longer need to go to a spot to start plays (and hence you no longer need the overlay). In order to call a player the User needs to be the ball carrier, and can set up anywhere in the half court. Once he calls the player the user's teammates will set up in their designated spots and run the play- there is no need to see where to set a play up because the play will begin automatically.
I already noticed that this was the case, but my problem (which I now realize I forgot to submit), was that the Direct Pass icons would come up every time I called a play by double-tapping a D-pad button.
Oh well, I'm still looking forward to it
