i support ea as always, and still feel that it's more than was available while i was growing up, and has at least not become stale and totally boring
how do you complain about the game like you did, and then proceed to say you support them?
dont fucking support them if you hate the game... shit like that wont earn you respect anywhere
what does respect have to do with anything? respect is what ea says they have for the people who buy their games every year, you too if you've bought it, so what is todays value on respect. their concern about keeping their contact info hidden seemed to be more relevant than what anyone here thinks of the games problems.
why do i support ea? are the makers of 2k7 going to patch nba live? the nba sure as hell isn't, patchers would if they could, as of now that ain't gonna happen. so who exactly can do anything about your concerns or anger or wanting your money back. and by support, i haven't even bought the game, so i posted out of frustration for what all these people here that i don't know have expressed from their disappointment.
so supporting them and wanting them to make a product that i would like to enjoy in exchange for my money is exactly why i can complain. which member here created any of these glitches? none. but you should give them the RESPECT they want to keep their support. well have they earned it? but the info is gone.
if you didn't order the game from them you are not even an order number to them in all of this. when something isn't right, it's not always the non-support or hating that gets things done. sometimes it's the kick in the butt from those making or breaking you that is the most support.
if for $40 they can put out a game that is at least playable and on par with what a basketball reproduction should be, i will spend it and get what enjoyment i can. so maybe support could have been worded differently, however to me what you're implying is standing by them, that i don't.
so if i earn no respect for supporting them until they basically say publically that this is what you get for $40, buggy and all we ain't fixing it, then so be it. what i don't support is how they seem to view and treat you and everybody else because your voice to them is some support complaint, or post on a board, or the order number they sent you for ordering the game.
support the hell out of them until they realize that you ARE THE REASON that they make this game, and limiting response to one individual on their terms is not good support in return, support them till they give your money back if they won't fix it, support them till they realize you're upset people with legitimate gripes the game caused in return for your money.
they respect the collective funds they've gotten from you, they should respect the collective voices and complaints and sources of those funds.
but that ssssshhhhhhh, don't tell the others what i tell you, or who i am attitude needs to be stopped or you'll go through the same thing again and again. kind of like what's going on now. the sweet personal approach brought chastisement, so why not make a big loud statement that says you really should treat your consumers better than that.
yet again just my opinion, but hating on the game, that's little and not really what my other post was about, but treating not just the people here, but everywhere, that gave them a reason to even start making the game in the first place like guest number 101 at a party for 100 after you've paid for your spot ain't acceptable.
and with respect to Andrew and the other mods, if you feel ea will take offense then by all means delete both posts, if there is a respectable way of getting across to them that these are human beings behind all these nice usernames and not just a bunch of gamers, and that this oops is big and bad enough that they should for once TREAT the customer like he's always right and not take offense at what they have to say, then hopefully someone can make it happen.
good luck whichever way this goes.
