from the blog wrote:The most obvious enhancement is the ability for players to have multiple superstar types and be able to change them on the fly. You no longer have to decide if you want LeBron to be a High Flyer, Play Maker or Scorer - now he's all of them,

I just realize that why does EA make it so complicate? I mean when you drive to the lane with “Highflyer ability”, and you want to change it to “Playmaker”do a behind a back pass to a wide-open player for a 3pt shot, there is no way you can pull out it smoothly. Since you have to press the right trigger twice to skip “outside score” then your player has already stuck in the crowed.

My point is, although it seems much more flexible with the ability to change FSS, but you still have to decide whether you want to go for a fantasy assist or a flashy jumper AT THE BEGINNING OF A PLAY.
That’s really not realistic for a player to decide what he wants to do before he starts to run the offence.
I think the best application of this function is for you to do a high flyer dunk when having plenty time to switch it during the FAST BREAK.

Why don’t they add those specific moves to those superstars who usually do that?
Like leave windmill dunk to Amare not SHAQ, turnaround jumper for KOBE not JAMES. The “throw-esque” layup should for Iverson, Dirk NEVER does it.

Than maybe they can save the button for POST UP or something…

What do you think?
(and thanks da balla for the finding)

I didn't actually write that. ;) My guess is as good as yours, although seeing as though we can change it on the fly I assume that with practise we'll be able to toggle the FSS abilities for multitalented players fairly effortlessly.

I wonder why they were focusing on this small matter. also, I think they only add some new dunks to the highflyers. I mean, they left the other superstar type alone, so Shaq still does a windmill, and james with the turaround.

^^ the blog is regarding Next Gen, not current gen. .you don't know if Shaq is gonna do windmills on Next Gen.

Is EA holding something big from us? I can't remember when the final announcements were published for other advancements, like ASW or FFS, but it does seem like there needs to be something bigger not just fixes....right?

I'm not sure if EA is holding something big from us, if they are I hope its a good one. EA reminds me of PS3, "Dont give the info people really want and just let them see the cover rather then the inside so we can get the money out of it first"
