WHOSE RATING WILL DRAMATICALLY CHANGE?

Sat Jul 22, 2006 5:42 am

HERES MY LIST

Increase: Chris Paul, Chris Bosh, Gerald Wallace, Josh Howard, Boris Diaw, Raymond Felton, Jameer Nelson, Dwight Howard, Elton Brand, David West, Barbosa, Jason Terry, Dwayne Wade, Chauncey Billups, TJ Ford, Mike James, Tony Parker

Decrease: Kenyon Martin, STROMILE SWIFT, J.R. Smith, Amare Stoudamire, Tracy Mcgrady, Shaq, Ginobli, Grant Hill

Sat Jul 22, 2006 5:46 am

I think Boris Diaw should increase too. :?:

Sat Jul 22, 2006 5:52 am

I think Shaq's rating might suffer a bit, I mean since he was so dominant in the Finals and pretty much all season. Joe Johnson might also see a decline as he was very highly rated in 06.

Sat Jul 22, 2006 6:46 am

Dwayne wade's will increase to the level of kobe and lebron. Not to mention nowitzski.

Sat Jul 22, 2006 6:51 am

I think Peterson's rating may go up probably a little, his fg rating was totally not on par of his real-life counterpart (68 fg for Peterson? come on, its much more like 78 or 75). Steve Francis will go down as this season wasnt too great for him, and his short time in NY wont help him either. Maurice Williams rating will probably go up, while Marvin Williams' rating would go a little down. His rookie ratings in 06 were a little high IMHO.

I don't think Tracy McGrady wont go down since he is the cover athlete. Mike Miller should go up.

Sat Jul 22, 2006 6:57 am

More Increases: Bonzi Wells, Okur, Zaza Pachulia, Josh Childress, Chris Wilcox, Vlad Rad

Decreases: KG, worst season in 5 years, killed my fantasy team

Sat Jul 22, 2006 9:24 am

Ridnour and Watson and for sure Petro and Robert Swift will increase I believe

Steve Francis and Stephon Marbury will probably decrease

Sat Jul 22, 2006 12:44 pm

Mike James will definatley increase (68 overall in 06) to prolly a high 70's possibily low 80's, Nene will probably decrease considering he didn't play at all, Amare will most likey remain the same, Payton Zo, and Grant Hill will decrease & Smush Parker will increase (just to name a few)

mike james to thoe 80s? COME ON man that is the most retarded thing i have ever heard (N)

he might be in the mid 70s although he really doesnt deserve it.

i think steve nash might go up a BIT, just cause he is the mvp. sam cassell will go up, yea nowitzki will definitely go up, hmm bosh might go up a little...korver might go up... antonnio davis will go down... and what do you guys think guys like anthony parker and them will be?

Sun Jul 23, 2006 12:19 am

I don't remember what players ratings were before, so I'll go with:

Boris Diaw
David West
Smush Parker
Chris Paul
Raymond Felton
Jameer Nelson
Mike James

Since the question is DRAMATICALLY, then guys like Brand, Bosh, Wade etc really aren't going to have dramatic changes, they'll go up, but not by a huge margin.

Well they will have to respect his scoring and shooting, whether on the Raptors or not, he can still score and shoot. If you look strictly at his numbers, he put up:
20.3 PPG | 46.9% FG | 44.2% 3PT (on 4.8 attempts) | 5.8 APG | 2.6 TPG
Post All-Star:
24.6 PPG | 46.7% FG | 44.8% 3PT (on 6.5 attempts) | 6.5 APG | 3.3 TPG

Also before he came to the Raptors, who I admit are attrocious defensively, he was considered a very good man to man defensive player. The Raptors made him get considered lower, but what can you do. Him having an 80 rating is actually quite accurate, based on what he did this previous season. I'm pretty sure a guy like Jason Terry has an 80 rating, and his perfomance last season on a pure statistical basis was better than anything Terry has done in the regular season.

Increase: Nocioni ! , Delfino , Oberto ( both to 60 ) , Gordon , Jasikevicius , Diaw

Decrease : Ginobili (just a bit like 82 ) , Webber , Duncan ( the season was a sheet , but in playoffs .... ) ,

Sun Jul 23, 2006 2:52 am

Monta Ellis will increase, simply because he isn't even in the game. :)

CP3 and Okur should have higher ratings, for sure. If I'm not mistaken, Okur's rating is JUST 69! Diaw and Terry will most definitely go up as well.

Sun Jul 23, 2006 2:57 am

No one mentioned Darko, there should be a definite increase there. Wouldnt be hard, i think he was a 57 in live 06.

Sun Jul 23, 2006 7:43 am

The biggest change should be Josh Smith, wasnt he like 82 or something with the EAs roster?
Darko should be around the 65-70 region which is quite a big jump, but I think Diaw and/or Raja Bell will have the biggest increases.

Sun Jul 23, 2006 7:56 am

i think darko will be about 63 but not 70 and I think J'O should increase a lil'bit

I agree with you there. The 80-82/3 range would be good for him. As much as Raptors fans whined, all you have to do is look at his numbers (especially that 3pt%). Pretty hard to find many PGs out there with those kinda figures. The way Raps fans were whining you woulda thought his fg% was hovering around 40.

Sun Jul 23, 2006 8:02 am

increase TIM THOMAS

Sun Jul 23, 2006 11:21 am

increase:dirk, terry, tim thomas, wade(not much), Kobe to a 97 :D , diop, chris paul

decrease:shaq, t mac ( although i think he's gonna make a comeback), odom

well mike james' primacy rating will definitely be up

the most under-rated player in the game was mehmet okur. then there comes diaw and so fourth... i think mo pete should be 80 or maybe a bit less. he played real well. bosh will maybe go up like 1/2...vc should go to 90
