- I'd enjoy it if screens and called plays actually worked (as they do in 2K5). In Live, the screener gives a half-hearted almost-screen and it doesn't actually do anything and called plays are worthless except for if you use them to set your players up in one position at the start of the play. Sideline Triangle is great for setting up a post-up but ultimately balls-useless after that, no matter how patient I am.

The offensive AI needs a SERIOUS overhaul for both cpu and user controlled teams. I absolutely hate it when there is a blocked shot or missed rebound and my players tiptoe around the ball like its some sort of alien spacecraft or sumthin.... Also in Dynasty/Season mode, the user shold be able to designate the 1st, 2nd and mayber 3rd option on offense. Primacy shouldnt be a set in stone attribute of a player, its something that the coach/GM decides. There is no reason for Brent Barry to average 20 pts a game when he is on a team with T-Mac and Yao.....
The ONE thing that 06 must have is better shot-blocking and stealing animations. Not all blocked shot die limp at the feet of the shooter. Most are tipped and make their way towards the rim. NO NBA PLAYER is going to attack the basket as if to dunk and then decide to put up a weak layup so that *INSERT WEAK BACKUP CENTER HERE* can block it from 10 feet behind..... As far as stealing goes, ball hawks like Larry Hughes / LeBron / A.I. dont stretch there arms like Mr. Fantastic, they jump into the passing lane and accelerate downcourt for an uncontested dunk/layup
