Just to add to this one, have a players stregnth/weight rating determine whether he will bounce off a player or bull through the player. Example: Shaq is not going to bounce off Earl Boykins on a dunk attempt, but Earl Boykins will bounce off Shaq.

Would people give up addressing the blocks issue to get a rumor mill in the news?

Would people rather have better team AI and teams running plays better, with star players getting more touches and in general more assists, or would they rather have posterize dunks?

What I meant was correcting the issue with guards being able to stop centers from dunking just by standing in front of them. It doesnt have to be a posterized dunk, but it is an issue when I try to dunk with Tim Duncan and he bounces off Andre Miller and trys to throw the ball up backwards.

First, I would like better gameplay and deeper NBA Dynasty mode.

But in a few years, I think this thing would be great idea to put in Live series.
Something like Live 2007 or 2008.

Have the computer be able to recognize the open man, many times their'll be an open player, and the AI won't pass to them, and instead take a bad shot. They need to be able to recognize the open man all the time.

Remove the offensive player bouncing off defensive players, and players pushing you out of bounds, it should be a foul if they push you out.

Ability to set player lock before the game starts, in the control picking menu, we should be able to set player lock, like in hockey games.

Allow the User and AI to have and use playbooks, which can be set by the user in the settings menu [outside the game], we should be capable of setting and saving these for every team.

These playbooks should also load into dynasty, and have the computer change their playbook whenever they make a signing or trade, and every year before the season starts, so that it favours their best offensive player getting the ball more often.

Example: Each team has let's say 4 plays they'll run. Miami would have:

1) Iso SG Wing [Damon Jones brings the ball up as Wade starts on the right side, Wade comes around while Shaq and Haslem set screens for him, Wade pops up on the wing and is Iso'd] Player tendencies come into play here too, a guy like Wade would have a really high tendency to drive as opposed to shoot, so he'd break down the defender, if it was a Ray Allen, he would take the jumpshot if it's open, or do something else if not.

2) Post PG - C, Pass option[Damon Jones and Shaq are on the left side, and Damon Jones tries to post Shaq, if Shaq is fronted or they can't get the ball to him, Jones will pass to someone else and they'll call another play

3) Pick and Roll SG-[PF/C] Wade runs around like on the iso, then Shaq or Haslem depending who's opposite comes out to set a screen for him, and he drives to the basket to score or dish to the open man

3) Post SG-C [Shaq and Wade play the 2 man game, Shaq get's the feed, Wade hard cuts to the basket, if Shaq can't find him, he looks for the open man, and then makes the pass or goes one on one.

Stuff like that would be very very nice, and for teams like Washington and Sacremento it would be great to see the princeton offense with players going backdoor, and all the movement as opposed to them playing exactly like the Raptors or Blazers or whatever.

As you can see, I've combined some of the Dynasty Mode wishes as a few examples of the most popular wishes for further expansion of Dynasty Mode. If everyone's in agreement, I'd like to send the Wishlist on to EA.

I haven't read the whole thing, but saving screens as .gif's or .jpeg's instead of those silly .tga's. The .tga's don't seem to hold detail well.

-One MAJOR problem i hate to play live is because when i play the computer they dont play realistic as in the point guard on any team that i play is usually the top scorer...so its never Dirk, Carmelo, Tracy Mcgrady, Kobe Bryant, or Peja who has the most points or the teams best players its the point guards(jason terry,andre miller,charlie ward, chucky atkins,mike bibby) who just take over in those games, on every team, i love live and espn 2k5 has taken to this and made sure that the major players and 'stars' get a certain amount of attempts atelast to make it more life like PLEASE ADD THIS ...THANK YOU

It not such a big change and it would make a world of difference.

Also, if it's not to hard for you, I would send my idea of minor leagues (With the whole European leagues, CBA, NBDL, WNBA and etc.) and worst case scenario - they will throw it to the garbage.

Online/Multiplayer
-Instead of (or in addition to) the online mode being P2P (and hence limited to 2 players), release a dedicated server (so that ISPs can host games in a similar fashion to FPS like counter-strike), allowing up to 30 players to connect to the one server. Just like in online shooters clans/teams would spawn instantly and this would fast become the NBA crack that I've been craving for so long.

there should definatly be cut scenes.like,pregame shows with the TNT crew. halftime shows should include highlights of the game and a discussion of the game. and please add some jokes to the commentary. dont just talk about what is happening in the game. you should make some kinds of jokes to make the commentary sound like you are really watching a game on tv.play by play should be by marv albert and steve kerr. there should also be a post game show, announcing the player of the game, and also talking to the player of the game. also, before the game starts, we should have the ability to see the players in the locker rooms(that would be awesome).

now this is a must, there should be a much bigger celebration when you win the championship, atleast for 3 minutes,(i like to see what i earned). also in the francise mode,(for example) when the bulls win there second sraight title, marv albert sould say,"chicago has won there second straight title in a row." speeking of chicago,where please include michael jordan. SOME NOTE:
take away the iceskating in the game(when you dribble from left to right or right to left).
include plenty of cut scenes

One thing I would really love for online play is a way to TEST THE LAG! I hate it when I connect to someone with 90 ping and then when we play there is a 0.5 second delay between when you push a button and the action actually happens... Before the game starts there needs to be some sort of rudimentary shootaround... the main point of this is to see how damn laggy the game will actually be, so you can leave with no penalty if the game is running real slow!!

One thing I would like to see for the new Live 06 is an active arena scoreboard. It would be nice to see it during time outs and during half time showing clips on the screen and it actually keeps score and stats. I remember on INSIDE DRIVE for the XBOX the scoreboard kept sthe stats and score during game play. Also:

All retro Jerseys

Classic championship or past great teams like on Madden football

Have the classic teams wearing the old warm up jackets

And maybe have the owners mode like on Madden 04

-I think that, for the dynasty, a player search would be helpful so if you do a fantasy draft or don't know where a player is that you want to acquire, you can use the player search. Similar to that in the Pro Evolution Soccer games.
