He has high rebounding and blocking numbers as well as slightly above average off/def awareness. 2k rates those absurdly high this year. Look at the rest of his ratings, none are high. He hasn't played in 3-4 years, but he hasn't forgotten how to play, he just gets injured all the time. I think he has a 35 or 45 durability rating.
I just quick-looked the roster, simmed a season and posted it here, literally in 5 minutes. After better look I understand why. Thanks bro
Jeff Green brick wall?
Jose Calderon post playmaker?
Joe Johnson brick wall?
That's just stupid.
There are worse. Trust me. I went trough most of the teams(didn't touch FAs) and there are some stupid ones. It might be better to have Assoc roster with Sig Skills and one without it.
The only workarounds I can think of are the one you mentioned (having 2 different Association files) and using REDitor to manually remove all sig skills each year of an Association.
I think that for most sig skills, they can be determined fairly objectively..for instance Dimer should be Most points assisted per 48, via NBA.com player stats tracker. It's up to you to determine how much players will receive individual sig skill. Most of us don't have REDitor nor do I have money to spend on it.

Aderito wrote:This is the best formula for 3pt rating of the nba players
(Most 3’s made in a Season) + Career 3pt% = Rating
Tier X{0 to 2}Rating always = 25
Tier 0{3 to 9} Rating always = 39
Tier 1{10 to 75}31+Career 3pt % = Rating
Tier 2{76 to 125}43+Career 3pt % = Rating
Tier 3{126 to 175}44+Career 3pt % = Rating
Tier 4{176 to 225}45+Career 3pt % = Rating
Tier 5{226 & Up} 52+Career 3pt % = Rating
How it works:
Take the highest number of 3pt field goals a player has made in a single season in their career.
See where that number falls in the brackets and then add the number(If there is one) to the right of the bracket with the player’s Career 3 point percentage. And that should give you the RATING!!
Here’s an example: Ray Allen made 269 Three Pointers in the 2005-06 Season with the Seattle Supersonics. Therefore he falls in the Tier 5 bracket. His career 3pt% is 40 percent as of now.
40%+52=92. If he improves his Career 3pt% to 41 throughout the season, that would make him a 93 rating.
Ray Allen: 269 Career 39% (92 Rating)
Some more examples:
Steve Nash:179 Career 43%(88 Rating)
Dirk Nowitzki:151 Career 38%(82 Rating)
LeBron James:132 Career 32%(76 Rating)
Dwyane Wade:88 Career 29%(72 Rating)
Lamar Odom: 80 Career 32% (75 Rating)

Jason Terry:172 Career 38%(82 Rating)
Derrick Rose: 128 Career 30%(74 Rating)
Mehmet Okur: 129 Career 37%(81 Rating)
Kevin Love: 88 Career 37% (80 Rating)
Matt Bonner: 118 Career 41%(84 Rating)
Kobe Bryant: 180 Career 33% (78 Rating)

Aderito uses those formulas to construct his draft classes I remember and from 2K13 he was one of the best draft class patchers.
Anyway slimm what's your opinion on doing draft classes? I'm not really a fan of doing draft classes because of the little data there is on college players.
Rosque wrote:Yeah but assoc is unplayable after first season due to players getting sig skills.
Medevenx wrote:I use a formula that accounts the 3-Point Attempts AND the 3-Point Field Goal % so that players who shoot more shots and STILL have a high % are bound to get higher ratings. But then again, we can all get different shooting ratings as long as it is with respect to the other players in the roster. A roster that has many players with 90+ 3PT rating and a respective slider that has the 3 Point Success at 30 would be alright, then have another roster with players having their 3PT rating around 70s to 80s and have the 3 Point Success at 40 or something. It all needs to be relative to the roster so it's not something to worry about.
