As long as there's

i think they are a title contender along with the heat, spurs, and thunder. i like their chances if RIP and Rose (along with everyone else) are healthy. i don't think home court matters. they all have playoff experience expect Jimmy Butler. i agree with what others already have already said- defending Bosh and getting scoring aside from Rose are the keys.

they aleady beat the new knicks team

That means Carlos Boozer is your savior lololol. Also Noah.
I'm not going to rely on Boozer to turn water into wine. Taj Gibson should be seeing big minutes in the playoffs
Meanwhile, Rasual Butler has been cut by the Raptors and is looking to sign on with a contender, with the Bulls apparently being one of his preferred destinations. It didn't really work out so well last year because he was out of the rotation and as such scarcely used, but it couldn't hurt to bring him on board again.
yeh can't hurt but knowing Thibbs and how he likes continuity, he won't see the floor unless it's garbage time

I meant under Woodson, they seemed to have figured out some problems they've had since he took over.

Absolutely, I expect he'll largely go to waste again if it happens. If he's fine with that though, might as well sign him so he's there in case of injury or foul trouble.

what a shot by deng
sucks for my raptors though, just didn't have the legs there tonight with a depreciated lineup
Sun Mar 25, 2012 1:20 pm
Deng was in the right place at the right time for that shot. The play was pretty well defended by the Raptors, but Deng found the right place to get the tip in. Awesome game, and now the Suns are the only team that has yet to play in OT.

Oh the Bulls...
Sun Mar 25, 2012 6:12 pm
Too close a call against the Raptors, even with Rose and Hamilton out. Still, what a play by Deng!
40th win on the season, officially clinching a playoff berth.

That was definetely an ugly game,in which the Bulls were trying their best to lose this!! Thanks to the great shot by Deng though,Bulls managed to get an exciting, though undeserving win. I like the fact that Bulls are getting the W's one way or another, despite in some games, the absence of the injured Rose and Rip is more than discrete.
Mon Mar 26, 2012 2:42 pm
That pretty much sums up
Sam Smith's take on the game. Still, I guess you just take the win and resolve to play better, hoping Rose and Hamilton will be back soon.

Tough loss to the Nuggets, with not much resistance shown in the second half. Hope Rose is getting closer to being able to return, they have managed to get by without him but that won't get the job done in the long run.

Derrick Rose's target for returning would be the Pistons game or the Thunder game, but yeah that wasn't a real good performance in the second half.

Those Nuggets... full of surprises. They run the floor even better now that they have Javale McGee. I'll take this loss. The Nuggets needed this win more than the Bulls did obviously because them, Houston, and Utah are battling for those seventh and eighth spots.

Good win over the Hawks, given that Rose and Rip are still out and the Hawks have given them some trouble in recent times. Still yet to lose back to back.

Great game by the Bulls. I'm still confused whether Rose can come back in shape during playoffs time. If not, Kings of South Beach will embarass them.

Good game for the Bulls yesterday, I'm sure the Bulls will take their time bringing back people from injuries, because as you get closer to the end bad things will hurt you more.

Who knows?
In all seriousness though, most likely. In the long run they'll need Rose in the lineup and healthy to stand a chance of going as far as they possibly can.

waste? who's minutes should he be taking?
Hamilton is nearing a return
Fri Mar 30, 2012 4:50 pm
No one's. I say "waste" in so much as there's really no room for him in the rotation and he's likely just going to ride the bench; he could be better utilised by a team that has a greater need for him. Still, it can't hurt to have him around and it hardly puts them in a bad spot financially, so if he's fine with being a cheerleader then I say why not.

I don't care about that game. I know that LeBron the King will embarass them!

Considering that both games this year have been closely contested, even with key players out due to injury, I doubt either team will be embarrassed.

Lets hope the Bulls bring it on Sunday and beat the Thunder.

I was looking forward to seeing the Bulls & Thunder play. Then I realised it's being played at 4am over here.
Sat Mar 31, 2012 5:25 pm
Yep, it's airing at noon in Illinois on ABC, so hopefully I don't sleep through it.
Sat Mar 31, 2012 7:01 pm
It's going to take quite an effort to win that one without Rose. I wouldn't rule it out, but the Thunder are looking like the team to beat at the moment.
