NBA Live is great.
But it's not as good as my expectation...
Although EA improved the game every year, they did took away many good things and replaced by some minor (or even bad) things year by year.
I do hope Live 2005 will not disappoint me...

The major change came with the new production team in Live 2001... Live 2000 was the last product of the good old production team and it was near flawless. Those guys knew what they were doing... 2001 was mostly created by the old team, but got replaced during it and it's been a roller coaster since then. They messed up the franchise mode in 2001. In 2003 they made every shot fall if it wasn't blocked and every shot get swatted into the 11th row of the arena. In 2004 they made the players bump and grind effect and the double team animation thing... They have created something new too, though... I'm just saying that the game would be pretty solid had the old team stuck around, but would we ever have seen freestyle and others if it weren't for the new team...
The new team is finding their niche in this game and are getting better every year... So I don't think they are quite finished with it yet... Hopefully they can iron out the flaws and implement their additions better this year... I'd like to see a product that does not have any apparent flaws.
