First NBA 2K12 uncompressed and working with Mod Tool :) Should I make a tool? I guess jemizhuu will add this feature to his Mod Tool soon.

amazing work! please release your decompresser. I dont know if jemizhuu is actually working on the mod tool right now or not. Last year's version wasn't updated for a long time and never fully supported a few files or all models. nevertheless, please, release! (one of the few times you'll hear me say that, lol)
Opinions are my own.

Yes it works. I was able to import something to the game.
I guess probably jemizhuu tool will need an upgrade not only adding zlib support but also the way it works with textures
I was able by editing with hexadecimal to get just the background of the title screen but that´s not possible with jemizhuu tool.

Anywway I´m working on a small tool to decompress files in order you can use them with MOD Tool.
Uncompressed files work perfect with game.

Hmmm...so this will means no need to use bin folder anymore to do the job for mod tool?

Sorry. I don´t understand what you mean by that.
I will just make a tool that will uncompress the file then you open it with Mod tool :)

Ok great...that's basically what I needed to know...making the tool will solve my questions & hopefully mod tool will work correctly with headshapes as well....u know like last year players faces became distorted after editing. If it takes for the modtool to be updated I have patience....thnx for your help I truly appreciate the effort & contribution to make our game better:)

Updating about progress
It seems a bit more difficult than what I thought.
Now I can decompress files like shoes, titlepages, and other stuff but I have problems with kits and cyber faces.
It seems that there a more complex zlib there.

I´ll update you about progress.

I would just wait until the tool is released, it's too complicated trying to deal with that, it doesn't look like it will be long until it is released...

If I´m not doing anything wrong ( and I guess I´m not ) cyber faces and jerseys can´t be read by MOD Tool since structure is different from NBA 2K11. Also the game seems not to accept cyber faces and jerseys uncompressed. My tool currently works decoding shoes, titlepage and others.
