Did that had to be a joke or are you upset of me taking away both Griffin and Bledsoe?
Today at 10 AM, the leading Point Guard for the Orlando Magic, Jameer Nelson, has agreed to replace his teammate Jason Richardson for the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. The two-time Dunk Contest champion is happy that it is Nelson, who is replacing him.
" I think Jameer is going to get a huge experience from this contest. It will be fun to watch him. " Nelson himself however said that this is something new for him, but he thinks, that"Superman" Dwight Howard would be a better replacement.
" Well, I am really happy to try this, but I think Howard(Dwight) would have made some huge noise in that competition. We will see how I do."
Nelsons has some very tough opponents, as he is going to face DeMar DeRozan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and J.R Smith from the Denver Nuggets. They both seemed happy that somebody new and short is going to enter this sort of contest. DeMar said : " I think it is cool to see a short player like Spud Webb or Nate Robinson in the dunk contest. He does not dunk a lot in game but we will see what he brings to the table."
Dwight Howard himself said that he will literally lift him up if he needs the help. " I have done that before, It is the only time I have seen him dunking.*Chuckles*"
As the All-Star weekend is next month, we will see what Jameer and a bunch of other players bring to the table. For now, I leave you with a Jameer Nelson dunking video. Enjoy !
