The Lion Kings one where the top is about half black, and the shorts and bottom half of the top are gold reminds me of the alternate Washington Wizards jersey they had a few years ago. Not feeling that one.

I was thinking the same thing. But then again I doubt Disney would mind having extra publicity.

The Chi Sox wore red over decades including their second to last WS appearance and through most of the 80s (although not the softball unis). I just thought it would add some flair and Chicago sports team consistency, which is fun but not necessary.

AS FOR THE LION KING DESIGNS:

That was during a phase when I was coming up with a Sac Kings to Anaheim concept. They were actually done as a joke ala the Mighty Ducks - hence the 90s graphics feel. Both the guy who came up with the name and I agreed that Disney's LEGENDARY litigiousness combined with the rather silly name meant it was a useless concept, but fun to create nonetheless.

The others, if you hate 'em, fuck off. haha. I just think the thunder should be in a color that isn't the color of a clear sky (durp) and too many teams wear red and/or blue.

...Also the old nets Unis are baller.

I did not realize that. I guess it shows I only followed baseball that close since the 90s. I should do some research on it.

I did like the colors you have on the Bobcats jerseys, the design though I didnt much care for. I think the Denver unis would look ok, but for one thing. The logo looks a little cartoonish.

I think the Federals jersey was pure genius!

I would love to see one of the 2k patchers around here make these unis for 2k11.

Their old owner used to change logos, unis and colors more often than seems reasonable, but it did create many... unique, shall we say?... looks.

I love my Feds concepts, and yeah, the Denver logo is a bit cartoony but its from the same era that inspired my concepts.

Yeah, I went and looked at those. I never realized that the Denver logo was that "interesting" back in the day.

I have some ideas for you. I like jerseys that look realistic when compared with what they represent.

Heat: check this site out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flame. If you notice the hottest flame is actually blue! Red is actually the coolest flame because it is starved for oxygen. I wonder if a light blue, purple and orange jersey would work for the heat.

Hornets: I understand why the Hornets were using teal in North Carolina. Never understood why they stuck with that color when they moved.
If someone were to go with the colors of the indigenous hornets one would go with the bald faced hornet. Black with white trim. (Black is purplish when viewed in some lights.)


If someone were to go with the invasive species of hornet that has taken over the southeast one would go with the European hornet. Red, Yellow, and Black.

I agree, the Grizz look good right now. But that was a part of an article where I tried to reduce the amount of red and blue in NBA color schemes. The Grizz were an obvious team to edit since grizzlies are brown and that color is absent from the NBA. But a bigger problem with that concept, which I was reminded of after the fact, is that not only is Memphis the global headquarters of FedEx, but the Grizz play in the FedEx Arena (or something). So it's not gunna fly to dress them up like a UPS man, haha.

As for the Nuggets, the mountains have to be red, thats a direct iteration of the Denver city flag - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Denver,_Colorado

Now that you mentioned it, I now think the red mountain is proper.

...so I started to like the use of the red in that concept after I found out what it means. Huh, I'll analyze my head for a moment to what brought that change in opinion....

Suggestion, put a link for the second page in the bottom of your first page.

If I did not hate the Heat I would have said this, "OMFG FUSCHIA! WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING! THE HUMANITY!" about your concept jersey but since that's not the case I think it suits them well. Chris Bosh would probably like it.

UPS is brown and yellow. Grizzlies are brown and yellow. Thus the same colors as UPS.
