AI back, didn't expect it honestly, thought more of a slight rebuilding process in terms of your role players. I mean it looks a bit like the runs of the Mavs IRL. Adding role players and resigning above averages old players (Terry, Haywood etc) just to get that ring, but it won't happen if you don't rebuild imho.

No one is controversial in this rookie class. All of them are just full of hot air or in the case of Willie Lewis, hot air and being an idiot.

Well, I have no fiscal flexibility. I have way too many big contracts (i.e. Durant, David Lee, Andrew Bogut, Adam Morrison and others). I got 13 players on the roster so far. Iverson will come in handy if Tyson skips to Orlando or Phoenix.

Improve Your Player

Every participant has a certain number of points that they will be able to use on improving attributes of their virtual player. You only have one chance to use all these points so don’t waste your points (i.e. any leftover points are not able to be brought forward to the next tipping competition).

For every Skill-based attribute, it costs you 4 points in order to improve that certain attribute by 1. For every Physical-based attribute, it costs you 8 points in order to improve that certain attribute.

Skill-based attributes are skills like shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, etc. Physical-based attributes includes attributes like strength, speed, endurance, as well as mental attributes such as awareness. If you are unsure whether the attribute you want to include is a skill-based or physical-based one, you are able to post and pose your question.

A quick example of how to let me know how you want to improve your player:

Player: 75 points
Three point shooting + 5 (20 points)
Mid range shooting + 4 (16 points)
Layup + 3 (12 points)
Stamina + 3 (24 points)
3 Points left over that cannot be spent

Demand Trade: 200 points

That's right. Just read carefully how to spend your points. You won't get attributes if you calculate at the wrong cost for them!

Kidd Pushes Plans Retirement Back

SEATTLE, July 1 (AP) – Jason Kidd has made a surprise decision to continue playing on into his early 40s. The future Hall of Fame PG has pushed off retirement plans and signed a 4 year deal that will keep him with the Seattle Stealth until he retires.

The 40 year old’s deal will expire when he reaches the age of 45. It is doubtful that he will retire in 4 years time; he is expecting to get 2 more seasons before hanging up the jersey. “The four years is really security on the contract,” Kidd stated, “It really ends when I retire.”

The 11 time NBA All-Star averaged a solid 10.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 7.9 apg, 1.5 spg last season. He was instrumental in the Stealth’s championship push this year as he helped lead the team to the Western Conference Finals before succumbing to a separated shoulder. His numbers dipped in the postseason to 8.5 points and 4.7 rebounds a game but his assists per game rose to 9.7.

Kidd was in prime form before hurting his shoulder in Game 4 against the Kings. He had averaged 12 points, 8.5 rebounds, 10 assists in the second round against the Golden State Warriors. “My aim is to win a ring,” Kidd told reporters, “That is my main motivation. I’m so close to retiring with a championship. If it wasn’t for the injury, I think I would be celebrating and retiring right now.”

Stealth GM Will Sit was pleased that Kidd would be back for Seattle, “We needed him (Kidd) if we wanted to compete. We have a great team but Jason brings invaluable experience to the table. His poise and leadership are qualities that will help guide our young team.”

I didn't edit his age. I'm just lucky the computer didn't retire him. Been keeping it secret this whole time.

I guess I been lucky the CPU been keeping some of the older players around longer. I mean, Shaq played till he was 41 which was a surprise. Perhaps we have been underestimating the Association AI! I have a feeling Kidd is staying longer due to the team being so good. I don't know.

But really wanted to keep this secret to surprise everyone!
