Finally, Young introduced to the Clippers roster
Nick Young is happy to finally wear his new Clippers jersey
Nick Young, after being with the team for a few week now, was formally introduced to the media. Since Craig Smith currently wears #1, Young will wear #0 as a member of the Clippers. This will be his first number change since playing college basketball at USC. Young is expected to play in the Clippers next home game against the Detroit Pistons.
When asked about his thoughts about the issue on the league investigation.
Young said:It was a very unfortunate situation and something we have to put in the past now as I must help my team win games. The league made a big mistake.
I am telling you all now that the Clippers organization and Aaron Mintz were involved no wrong doing and their reputations should not be hurt because of a mistake by the league.
We just have to move on now and play the game.
Here is the official statement from the league:Upon completing the investigation, there was not enough evidence to prove any tampering in the trade between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Washington Wizards on October 30. There will be no disciplinary actions taken and the suspensions on the players have been lifted. This is just a warning to all agents and teams that all actions will be monitored and no one should ever put themselves in a similar position of speculation.
There has been no word yet if the Clippers will file any course of action.
In other news, Rookie Willie Warren was placed on the inactive roster to make room for Nick Young. In Young and Butler's absence, Warren has really shown to be a great three point asset off the bench, which makes this a somewhat difficult roster change.

The city of Los Angeles is awesome, the Clippers are awesome, and these fans are awesome. But I know that this sport is also a business. As long as I can continue to have fun and play basketball, I'll be happy.
Haha, as a Piston? Playing back home would be fun, but I don't have a say in it. It's a business and am not a business man, I'm a basketball player. Talk to my agent.
Press Conference after Practice before New Jersey Nets Game
After the game the Los Angeles Clippers announced that they will be holding a press conference on November 14 to unveil some important news about the organization. The press conference is open to the media and season ticket holders.
It is unknown as to what exactly is the big news.
Press Conference: New Jerseys+New Players?
As the media and season ticket holders began to file in as the Clippers were finishing up their last drills of the day and heading into the showers, GM Neil Olshey and Assist. GM KidJustin came out to address the crowd. Olshey welcomed the audience and talked about the success of the team thus far before handing the podium to KidJustin.
KidJustin shuffled some papers together and began:Again, thank you all for coming and showing your support. As you have all witnessed, this years Clippers team is an absolutely new brand of its own. We are doing all we can to turn this franchise around, become relevant to the world, and finally shed away that Clippers curse. Without further ado, the first things we would like to share to you all is our new uniforms!
Music began to play as Coach Vinny Del Negro walked in to introduce Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
Del Negro spoke to the audience about the new material they used and how it will benefit the way the players play. As he spoke of the new design of the uniforms and how they arrived at it, a fan blurted outWhy are we making a change now? What's so important that it had to happen in the middle of the season?
KidJustin chimed in:Well since you asked we might as well tell you about the second part of the meaning of this press conference. You see, we did our best to step away from our past image. In recent years we built a new training facility and acquired star power in Baron Davis, now our plan is coming full circle. We started the offseason by hiring a new coach in Vinny over there and made other changes in our coaching staff and front office such as adding in Reggie Miller, Danny Manning, and even me to this organization. Now we take an even bigger step as we have made a deal in which we had sadly departed with our long time Clipper favorite Chr....
Just then Olshey quickly rushed over and covered the microphone. He then whispered into KidJustin's ear before letting the microphone free.
KidJustin continued:Excuse me for that. It appears that by league rules we can cannot officially disclose transaction information just yet. Everything has been approved and it is a matter of time of the league finalizing all of the necessary paper work. I promise you that the new additions will be available for our game tomorrow, they have been allowed to practice with the team and have already participated in today's. An official statement should be out before our game tomorrow against the New Jersey Nets. Again I apologize for leaving you all hanging, but I know the surprise will be well liked come tomorrow afternoon.
Olshey took over the podium to conclude the press conference. He apologized again for the abrupt change in announcements, but told the media and fans that they could stay longer and chat with Blake and DeAndre about their new uniforms.
The two were tight lipped about anything pertaining any transactions. Some of the media stayed outside of the parking lot exit, but no one was able to see anyone other than the Clipper players and staff we are currently accustomed to.
It appears the second part of the news will have to wait until tomorrow as this press conference has left some more mystery.
