Breaking News! Tim Hardaway goes to Lakers.. Nick Van Exel goes to Heat!
In the latest trade in the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers have traded their starting Point Guard, Nick Van Exel and Power Forward, Larry Krystkowiak to the Miami Heat for their starting Point Guard, Tim Hardaway and Shooting Guard, Voshon Leonard. The trade came after the Dallas Mavericks game where Nick Van Exel insulted coach Del Harris repeatedly over certain parts of the game. Harris reported this to Lakers management and they decided to cut ties with Van Exel and attempted to trade him to another team as they did not want to disrupt the harmony in the locker room. After hearing of the potential trade, Hardaway pushed to get the trade approved so that he could have a chance at playing with the up and coming Lakers squad consisting of Shaquille O'Neal, Glen Rice, Elden Campbell and Rookie, Kobe Bryant. Tim Hardaway told ESPN in an interview "Oh, I'm just so happy to play with the Lakers. Coach Harris called me and told me I'll be the starting point guard, and just knowing that I'll be playing with the likes of Glen, and Shaq.. Kobe and Elden.. Chuck, Robert, Derek, it's a good feeling knowing that you're going to a team that cares for one another. That cares about winning, rather than their stat sheets." Lakers fans have already begun sending in mail to the Lakers organization praising it for it's latest trades that have made the Lakers into a Playoff contender.

I liked Nick the Quick... so boo @ seeing him go! But Tim Bug is awesome! Ah, the old days.
However, as a Lakers fan and Kobe Bryant fan, I am not happy he is starting in his rookie year. But this is your what if dynasty!
Still good work. Will be following.

Kobe wasn't good enough that year to even match the great like mike, and i am not just saying this because i am a huge
MJ fan the fact of the matter is he was so young and fresh if Kobe from 97 could travel into the future and see himself i think
he would be surprised but man he was trusted with the ball a lot and choked a lot he tried to hard to be the best but he just wasn't ready
but good luck with your season man
Shawn Bradley had a great defensive performance, with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks (2 notable blocks on Shaquille, who responded with 5 dunks on Bradley).

Reporter: Shawn, you had a fairly good performance out there, notably your 9 rebounds and 4 blocks, how was that for you?
Shawn Bradley: I tried my best.. I got 4 blocks and a couple on Shaq..
Reporter: If I recall correctly, he responded quite well to those blocks.
Shawn Bradley: Yeah, he's big. A bit cocky. And yeah, he dunked on me, so what?
Reporter: 5 times.
Shawn Bradley: Ok, is this an interview? Or are you just going to keep doing this to me?
Reporter: Sorry, Shawn, I just call it like I see it. The fans want to know, what was it like?
Shawn Bradley: What was what like?
Reporter: Shaq dunking on you 5 times after you blocked him twice?
Shawn Bradley: Look, I blocked him. End of story.
Reporter: But he responded with 22 points, and the five dunks on you.
Shawn Bradley: And I had 10 points? With 9 rebounds AND 4 blocks.
Reporter: And he dunked on you FIVE times.
Shawn Bradley: This interviews over.
