Mike Miller?

If Chicago gets JJ Redick, they could get the #3 seed, with Boston again underwhelming in the regular season.

I'd say so, though they'll have to beat the Knicks to the punch.

Where can we find a list with the Free agents remaining now?
Fri Jul 09, 2010 4:58 pm
Google?
Fri Jul 09, 2010 4:59 pm
I haven't found any recent list

the guy is 6'9 260lbs! what is your definition of a big PF then

Oops.Shouda have said not lengthy(comparably to gasol, bosh or such).

Seems Mike Miller's going to Miami (
link courtesy of benji), so cross him off the list of possibilities.

From SG i believe that Kyle Korver and JJ Reddick are the best and then is Ronnie Brewer and Anthony Morrow are next on my list.Maybe sign 2 of them or try to make a trade for BG and have one of them as the backup of him
What about T-Mac?
A lineup of Rose-Gordon-Deng-Boozer-Noah and with good bench players we can be a great team
We have Gibson,Johnson
At the PG there is: Alston,Robinson,Fisher,Farmar (each of those is a quality back up option for D-Rose)
At SG there is : Korver,Reddick,Brewer,Morrow and Brown-Hughes can be considered as good options as well
At SF there is T-Mac(who can play at SG as well)And even of all those injuries ,with a reasonable salary he can be a great tool for this team)
And there is Tyrus Thomas for the PF position as a 2nd option along with Gibson
And at C we can keep Miller or add Ben Wallace and Ilgauskas or Shaq
There are players for each position. There are solutions and additions who can make a pretty solid bench and fill the SG position with the appropriate players
And a lineup of Rose-T-Mac-Deng-Boozer-Noah will be great for me too

Delicious.

George, why in the name of Science, would you want to bring back Tyrus Thomas or Ben Wallace? Both of them were spectacular failures in Chi-town. There is no way that Pax would want to demolish his now-solid PF rotation, by bringing in two guys who made little to no effort for the Bulls.
T-Mac isn't a horrible option, if he's prepared to take a whopping great paycut, but their top priority needs to be a shooter. Ben Gordon is interesting, but if they were prepared to let him walk when he wanted the big money, then they probably aren't keen to bring him back after he's had an ordinary season. If by Hughes, you mean Larry Hughes, then I probably dont need to talk about that.
Fri Jul 09, 2010 6:59 pm
I just pointed out some possible options. I believe that you're right about Thomas Wallace and Hughes. If T-Mac can be signed with 5 millions i believe it will be a reasonable price for him concerning his status and form. Boozer said that Korver is a pure shooter and will suit at the Bulls squad. He along with T-Mac can make a good sg duo.
Fri Jul 09, 2010 7:01 pm
I could see the Bulls grabbing T-Mac, though its pretty high risk. JJ Redick and Josh Childress are easily the best free agent shooting with Wade off the market, but Redick is the only one that fits the great shooter bill.
If you guys get Redick, then fill out your bench with some decent talent with the rest of the cap, I could see the Bulls joining Miami, Orlando and Boston as the consistent figures in the conference semifinals. If Jameer Nelson, two of the Heat big 3, and one of the Celtics big 3 go down, Chicago may have a chance at the Finals!
Fri Jul 09, 2010 7:29 pm
Chils is not what you call a shooter or anything near that.He has good inside game with lay-ups ,dunks and defense but he has no special shooting abilities. And i know it well from seeing it over those 2 years he spent at Olympiakos.
There's a view with the current squad and i agree with you Lamrock.Grab a good SG fill the bench with talented players and we have a good view at the finals if we're lucky as well
Fri Jul 09, 2010 7:39 pm
Could the Bulls acquire both Childress and Redick? Either one would be a great 6-man option while the other starts.
Fri Jul 09, 2010 7:43 pm
Absolutely. They'd probably have to overpay though due to them being RFA's (though Atlanta is so cap-fucked by Joe Cool that Chills might be cheaper)
Fri Jul 09, 2010 8:32 pm
I wouldn't mind them gambling on T-Mac short term and for the right price, if he's still available after other options have either been signed or exhausted and he's willing to take the paycut on a two or three year deal tops (I'm guessing in the $3-5 mil range, if not the veteran's minimum. And if it's the veteran's minimum for the year, why not?). At this point I certainly wouldn't make him a priority but I keep in mind.

Fri Jul 09, 2010 10:22 pm
Chills is a SF/SG not a SG.More than a hybrid than a clear SG.
Maybe the experience of Peja and AI can help with low contracts?
Fri Jul 09, 2010 10:24 pm
Fuck, you got me man.
Out of that list, I'd probably take my chances on Keith Bogans, but still... J.J. Redick and Childrenless would become my priority.
Fri Jul 09, 2010 10:24 pm
I think Korver would be a good fit for the Bulls also.
Fri Jul 09, 2010 10:27 pm
The Bulls need a starting SG, though. At this point in their careers, Peja and AI don't really fit the bill any more. I could even see Peja retiring, or sitting on Miami's bench.
As far as AI goes, he's more likely than not to miss a lot of games again. If he gets disgruntled again, and publicly disgruntled, then it's an unneeded and annoying distraction.
And I'm personally not that big on Childress either. Not for Chicago, and not next year.
EDIT: Korver would be fine, but probably more so as an 8th or 9th man, he'd be very exposed on the defensive end, more so than Redick would.
