Yao couldn't make a basket to save his life, and finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Nate-for-Jianlian - actually i kind of like it... BOS gets a capable PF who can give KG some valuable rest minutes that add up over the regular season and save his legs for the Playoffs; meanwhile Nets get someone who can push the tempo when Devin Harris takes a breather... not a despicable trade really... z02's "Paul Pierce for Rafer Alston?" now THAT'S despicable hah;Yao couldn't make a basket to save his life, and finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds.
just like me at the park this past weekend![]()
anyway, nice mini-steak of W's; the DEN one must've been a nail-biter! too bad about the PHX sim-loss

Yao had to make some baskets otherwise he wouldn't have 12 points. lol
EDIT: I went back and I looked at that wacky Paul Pierce / Rafer Alston trade. This was using the original 02-03 rosters when Paul Pierce was a 94 overall and Rafer Alston a 77.
Which makes it that much worse. and a few days ago I traded away two low-60's players and a 72-rated Shaq for an 83-rated Leandro Barbosa and a 90-rated Amare Stoudamire. If you give the CPU more players than it gives you and their salaries sort of match up, you're nearly guaranteed to get exactly what you want.
STUPID SIM MACHINES!!!!

All-Star Selections
The All-Star voting is done, and the Red Nation is proud to announce that two of our Rockets players have been voted as All-Stars: Yao Ming and Kevin Martin, pretty shocking right? Some surprises in the selections, both West and East, are shown. Here are the rosters-
East Starters
Dwight Howard C | Antawn Jamison PF | LeBron James SF | Joe Johnson SG | Rajon Rondo PG
East Bench
Brook Lopez | Michael Beasley | Stephen Jackson | Dwyane Wade | Mo Williams | Danny Granger | Vince Carter
West Starters
Yao Ming C | Dirk Nowitzki PF | Kevin Durant SF | Kobe Bryant SG | Steve Nash PG
West Bench
Chris Kaman | Amar'e Stoudemire | Carmelo Anthony | Kevin Martin | Chris Paul | Tyreke Evans | Tony Parker
1st time All-Stars include-
Kevin Durant
Chris Kaman
Kevin Martin
Tyreke Evans
Rajon Rondo
Brook Lopez
Michael Beasley
Stephen Jackson
Kevin Martin will be coming off the bench, but with Rick Adelman as coach of the West (coach with the best record in the West), he's guaranteed a handful of minutes. Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers was also named as coach of the East, though he doesn't have a better record than Mike Brown, coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers and coach of the East last year, NBA rules state that you can't coach an All-Star team two years in a row. The pressure is on Yao and K-Mart to represent the Rockets in this All-Star game.
Martti. wrote:You say that Martin will get a handful on minutes, though usually the coaches play their own guys less to lessen the risk of an injury. Good job though getting two guys in the ASG.

Andrew wrote:Some impressive blowout victories there, hard luck against Wade and the Heat. Congrats on getting two All-Stars.

don't mind losing to Yao, but i'll be damned if he deserved the SPotG over Curry's 34 & 8
some solid wins (espec. the Philly massacre - deeamn!); weird how Wade beat you with the sub .500 Heat
