Talk about NBA 2K9 here, as well as all previous games in the NBA 2K series.

Suddenly in 2K9 many of the sounds get stuck. The sub horn, for example, will sound over and over and over and over again once subs are made.
How annoying.

When the sound gets stuck, does the gameplay gets stuck too? If it does then there's a problem with your hardware, it's probably not good enough to run the game itself

The game continues to play fine. The sounds are repeating.

Or get a sound card. I had this issue with alot of other games because of my built-in sound.

I'll see if it happens now after reboot.
That onboard sound may also be the issue, but it was working fine for a long time.
