Hopefully this is an actual ingame footage. But i doubt, not.

Pretty cool trailer.

It looks cool but we have to agree that was all pre rendered. Just because the actual game doesn't look like that.

The only Live I didn't buy was 06 and 07 on the 360. because they were shit, I played it on Current Gen in 06 and played 2k7. Last year's game was alright, but it wasn't anything to brag about. But this year's game, is atleast decent to have fun with. I love both Live and 2k. I just love Basketball PERIOD. I'm a fan boy to a certain extent. I'm only interested in gameplay, I could care less about deep dynasties and fantasy shit!!!

Looks like it was using the actual game engine, but with mo-capped, not in game animations.

some are in game animations i have actually seen. Most i haven't but they are signature moves.
durants dunk looked nice , but only clyde and mj do that dunk.......carter probably does that dunk in the game.....lebron probably does that lay up too.
the block on bibby by KG is a serious doubt in my mind, but it is possible yall. I have seen a lot of blocks when i played against my boys. head to head.
Arenas fake before the pas i also am not sure of........i did see Rajon Rondo fake-out 2 guys before going for the lay up.
i think it's 60-40 that the game does do what the trailer does, but ofcourse they chose the most exciting things that happened.
ALSO keep in mind that you have a reel maker to make highlights in the game this year. you probably CAN make vids like that.

^^^ I disagree, I think that the animations are 'similar' to what would be in game, but still all mo-capped.
Small things like the defensive players reactions to the situation (the defender when T Prince dunks for example) are too intuative and smooth, unlike the real gameplay animations.
Look at the way that Stevenson runs down the court before catching the feed from arenas. There aren't run animations like that in the demo, and there aren't variations like that in the demo. And Haywood giving up on the play etc.
I think EA is very smart with making these trailers as they do. They use their nice in game graphics and 'plausable' gameplay scenarios to elude to in game footage. They do it each year.
I work within the industry and in my opiinion there is no real gameplay animation in here.

Much as I like the video, I tend to agree. If you're still making up your mind, getting your hands on the demo or at least reading reviews and impressions will let you make a more informed choice. Having said that, the trailer is a really cool production and there are some nice animations in the game this year particularly on the dunks.

The rim doesn't always bend when you dunk!!! I like how they added soft dunks and power dunks

Trailer was awesome....let's hope EA delivers a game half as good as that fluff job they showed.
