0-21 with the 3-Ball Lakers vs. Miami

This was a pounding, the Lakers never really gave much effort and walked over Miami, it was like a preseason game with the Laker's attitude, they never looked to care or worry, they just subbed in and out players, each star sitting around on the bench laughing and talking to each other, at times to celebs and stuff, Miami was never a threat.

The teams shot 52-80 from the fouline as well, missing 28 free throws.

There were 36 turnovers too.

If I paid top dollar for this game, I would be disappointed, regardless of the Lakers winning. (If were a Lakers fan)

The Lakers and Clippers games come stand with cable here where I live in Southern California, it should be noted if a game is on ESPN, TNT, NBATV, ABC or is shown locally on any channel, it is not shown on NBA League Pass.

You guys know how I get adjatated so quickly, well before I could even get interested in these games, the following play-by-play announcers had me wishing I were watching Verizon commericals "Can you hear me now?"

I think his name was Matt Devlin for the Memphis Grizzlies, he just goes along just fine, then this gargling bearlike moanish scream comes, you gotta hear it though "Earrrrrl Waaaaatson" like it's a Grizzlish growl, it is so fake and annoying I could just kill him.

Some dude who I think is the color guy for Toronto, speaks in this Bill Cartwright sounding voice, all muffled and deep, can't understand a word he says.

The dude who I think is doing a double broadcast play-by-play for TV and Radio for the Utah Jazz, Well he just says "Carlos Arroyo" in a way that annoys the hell out me :)

Homers are the worst, the guy that only sees things for his team and every call by the ref against his team is wrong, also he makes all the calls that are not made for his team and chimes in with his calls against the other team that were not made.

Johnny "Red" Kerr of the Chicago Bulls has been doing this for to me for 10 years, with his "Oh Michael was fouled there, jeez" "Pip never touched him."

Tommy Heinsohn who does this for the local channels in Boston is maybe worse than anyone, but it's enjoyable :)

Chick Hearn was really cool when he was doing the Laker games, he died recently, leaving this to another complete platehead, who's obsession with Devean George is strange at the very least.

Marv Albert and Walt Frazier do a solid professional broadcast for MSG.

gotta love heinsohn...

stick a fork in red kerr already. this guy should have been canned after the bulls last championship year. he was bearable since the team was a consistent winner. but now, he makes my ears bleed. it shouldn't take a mintue to deliver a quick summary on a replay. i think the tv stations that broadcast bulls game don't show that many replays because they know red kerr is terrible providing the color commentary on them. during games you can hear odd noises coming from kerr. i don't know if he pitching a tent because he sees mj in the stands or he's having a heart attack. whatever, it doesn't belong in the booth. i don't even want to get into his favortisim to white players on the team.

red kerr has done a lot for the organization, knows a lot about the game. much respect to him. but it's time to hand the color commetator job over to someone competent enough to do it.

Really it's not bad of course, because I still have those game as well.

Shep vs. Psycho Jackal

It's really old and boring, in my opinion, neither can be unbiased about anything, so they just cancel each other out.

Didn't imagine you were from CA, lol.

probably professional but usually boring. Well, maybe there's nothing to be excited about with the Knicks but pretty soon things will change... hopefully. I Heard McDyess might get to play wednesday against the Lakers, (Y)

my point with the blackouts is that i'm stuck with the bulls sorry broadcast team of dore/larivee and kerr for every game (except for the nationally televised ones). the bulls radio team is pretty good but who likes listening to games in mono and a second ahead of tv broadcast?
