During the game the announcers were calling him "Flip" Murray, I think.

Off to a solid start for someone who was considered some type of throw-in
in the Ray Allen/Gary Payton, Desmond Mason trade.

How about Seattle when they add Ray Allen to this good start?

Those are some nice numbers; It would be hard to keep that up, but 80% of that would be nice.

but thn murray wouldn't get as much pt and enough ball to keep this up, doesn't he play 2 guard as well?

Hit the shot at the buzzer to win this one.

They cleared out the whole court, Murray at the top ran the clock down and took it to the left side and drained it right at the buzzer.

doesn't he play 2 guard as well?

You tell me, maybe he's not Ray Allen, but I watched this game and he was not playing second fiddle to anyone, he could play the point, which he was sort of playing when they didn't have Ridnour in.

This is awesome, I have knew about him for a while now, having him on my fantasy teams, and he is just great. I bet he can keep up these numbers. Even when Ray Allen comes back, now that he has proven himself I think he could probably stay a starter. Plus most improved player anyone?

last year -> this year

1.9 PPG -> 24.6 PPG
0.3 RPG -> 5.2 RPG
0.4 APG -> 4.8 APG
.355 FG% -> 0.511 FG%

And I get to go see a Sonics game. W00T!!! He's playing very well, I saw the game against the Blazers and it was a good game, congrats to Murray for a great start (I bet that jinxs him and he gets an injury next game :lol:)

he was just a throw-in, he was thrown in the payton/mason for ray allen deal

just a thrown in huh?.... talk about the biggest steals of all time

Fri Nov 14, 2003 10:33 am

simply amazing. :D

and it is too early to tell if he can win M.I.P. award. but if he continues to play like he does, he could be Most improved player, and maybe 6th man(if ray allen comes back and replaces murray). nonetheless, he is pretty good for a "throw-in"
