Will NBA Live 09 be on PS 2

Talk about NBA Live 09 here.

They are clearly created for big screen HiDef. Let’s face it- they’ve got us by the short hairs. You have to breakdown and buy a console to truly enjoy everything this gaming experience has to offer. Anything less is like kissing your cousin. If you've seen these games when played on a 360 or PS3, come on- how can you go back to the PC after witnessing those graphics. Those of you w/out a console, before you buy the PS2 version, just go to a Best Buy and play the game on a next gen console, and then tell me you still want to buy a PS2 version.

Based on the above and the fact that I am also losing my Madden DVD for PC, I think I may just go ahead and finally buy a 360. This would of course require me to re-learn Madden on the controller. Given that Madden is such a complicated game that will be a bitch. Unless you can hook a keyboard up to a 360. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS POSSIBLE? I think I just solved my dilemma.

Yeah but i live in Australia so i don't think they normally put up a chance to play the game on the next gen consoles. Only those Australian popular games![/quote]

Oh yeah lol, sorry i just realised you only posted them 5 days ago then yeah but don't worry, i have Leander's 07-08 update so yeah. I also updated Bynum's overall rating for those Lakers fans who have Leander's roster.

Check his Post to see how to update it.

NBA Live is widely available in Australia on all platforms it's released on, including the 360 and PS3. The biggest problem is the price, both the hardware and the games themselves which is ridiculously expensive considering the exchange rate is so much better than it used to be.

Yeah but I'm not interested in buying a PS3 or an XBOX 360. All i wish is that, if EA SPORTS outputted all the versions of the game (PC, XBOX 360) it would be more popular for people who don't want to go and buy such an expensive product. The PC version would be more popular if they outputted it from the 360 version if they used the PC version to make the game. If EA had done that then they would not have had to recall the making of NBA LIVE 09 on PC. I like EA, they are my favorite company but also, i am not criticizing them, i am trying to find a solution to all the PC and PS2 NBA LIVE players out there.

I think they are talking about getting the PS2 version of 09 for files to use in the PC project or Live 08 on the PC.

Absolutely, I hope that the PC version returns and that it's identical to the 360/PS3 version. However, that won't happen with the PS2 version because it is outdated hardware. I'd be surprised if they continued to develop NBA Live for it too much longer, though we said the same thing last year.

Is that possible, Andrew?

Jao-

Thanks for this link. I put the device in a YAHOO search and, surprisingly, did not find much. Are these items readily available or did they bomb once on the market? I could only find one or two places that may or may not be currently offering them.

While doing this search, I saw where Sony has a wireless keyboard for the PS3 that is a little less expensive. I may go for the PS3 rather than a 360. According to CNET, the PS3 is "the most recommended" bluray player on the market. Add to the fact that Sony just dropped the price by $100 bucks, and I think its an easy choice.
