The NBA Live PC mod Requests Bin

I read that thread and all they did was get rid of the game clock. One person said a different videocard driver fixed his problem, and he said it was a problem with ATI card.

Those are the links to the threads that were talking about the last minute of quarter bug back in 2006. Hopefully someone comes up with the links again or they can make a patch that will fix this bug.

Take a screenshot of 08, then take the same lighting file & graphics files and convert it over to 06. I am pretty sure you won't notice any difference in graphics so that part is done.

What particular graphic files are they? I would like to give it a try~ =D

download cyberfaces, courts and jerseys.. then you won't see any difference..

I can't believe you guys are even working on this game, how awesome. I have been playing Live 06 exclusively since it came out, as I felt the next few installments were a step back in gameplay.

Personally, I like to do fantasy dynasties (I am probably in the minority on this) where I just do the fantasy draft in Season 1 to shuffle all the rosters up and make things more interesting then using real teams (which I got bored of long ago haha). I really like creating rookies and putting them in the game and seeing how they develop on other teams and such, but anything that could be added to make the rookies more diverse and to put more quality rookies in the later years of the dynasty would be appreciated.

One thing as far as AIACT type stuff would be to put in a "fast" layup from some of the previous games. All the layups in 06 occur at pretty much the same speed and are too easy to block, I would really just a few post up moves in the paint where someone takes it to the basket quickly to give a little more variety to the timing and catch you off guard more often. I think 04/05 both had these.

Since it's a request thread i thought i might ask to import the rotation and playing time fom07 and some other dynasty mode gameplay improvements. if it can't be done, though, no worries, we should be fine.

Playing the Olympics is something that I want so I am going to give a tentative yes to this but realize I am not an accuracy nazi and can play with generic players and not exact uniforms. Once progress is made though on my end, I have no problem giving my stuff up for public works so people can make it accurate.

I like the idea of FIBA teams in the mod too but it's one of those things we're looking at after we've got the NBA stuff under control.

As far as I'm aware, the aim is to get a stable release ready in time for next season but apart from that no dates have been set.

Man i haven't had so much fun play NBA LIVE in like 2yrs! Nothing compares to the gameplay of 06... much more realistic than 07 and 08, just today i was playing against Seattle and Durant just recieved his 2nd foul with under 1 min to play. So what does the computer do? They quickly call a time out and sub out Durant... I don't recall the cpu doing such a thing in 07 OR 08 since they both have the "substitution bug" and most of the time if they even sub out their players, it would only be because of fatigue, not foul situations.

Anywayz i just wanna request that if Andrew is making the ultimate roster update, i would suggest that the cyberfaces should be included as well as the portraits since there has been alot of players coming into the league since the 06 season (this yr's 08 rookies and 07 rookies)

BTW i've used the LIVE 07 courts in 06, and there seems to be some sort of bug in which mostly all of the arenas are missing their dornas (the ads that are underneath the tables at centre court) and around the stadium. Also, i've noticed some pink squares and objects around the area.. it's weird

cant wait for this mod if it brings like street teams, FIBA, AND1 and all updated stuff and new menus and stuff it will be the best nbalive game made so far by far. You guys should release like a demo to it when its almost done so we can see how its goin to be.

Well, it's not really a bug. It just means the game is looking for art files that it cannot find, which is going to be the case if you're using files from one game in another. Although the recent Lives tend to be fairly compatible as far as art files are concerned, not everything works 100% (at least without some further tinkering).

do 2x courts like the courts in sum 07 will not crash nba live 06 because my game crashed during the all star game intro (Im using Dahl's All Star court for Live 08)

that would most likely be caused by a roster issue because "2x" courts wont crash 06.

Where can i get those? I downloaded the Total Court Update from 07 and extracted all the files in my sgsm folder, is there another patch that has the bbd.ebo and bbd.fsh that i have to download?

- 2008 all star court & jerseys
- 2008/2009 rosters
- new fiba teams (if possible)
- black socks with nba logo for away uniforms for nba teams
- realistic cyberfaces for players
(tmac, vcarter, kg, daniel gibson, trevor arriza, devin harris, ginobili,
dirk, nash, ray allen, yming & so on...)
- courts & crowds (animation)
- team jerseys (no fictional)
- new shoes (if possible)
- fiba court & jerseys
- hands (if possible)
- team logos (if their are new)
- start-up video just like older versions of nba live
- moving jerseys
- speech id's (if possible)
- fiba philippines team (if possible hehe )
- realistic trophy

um, most of those have been done and this mod is for NBA Live 06, not Live 08. Please read the info about this mod before posting.
