does anybody have the patches for the historical mod for live 04?it seems you cant no longer download these files,only the ones for 2005.and will these work for 04.

someone hook me up with these.

What you have (the Megainstaller) is gold to a lot of players who play Nba live 04. I also tried to get the megainstaller without much success. I contacted NBA2kstuff himself about the Megainstaller over 2 years ago. He said he was going to e-mail it to me when he had a chance. He never did. For some reason or another, he doesn't want to be a part of this forum. So out of frustration, I gave up. Now, it seems that others are looking for this program. Please reconsider posting the Megainstaller as a download. Thank you.

I'd be happy to post the files as soon as someone gets me the Ryff stuff to work or better yet, just send me all the art, jerseys, faces, etc. from it.....

The Ryff comes with an installer from what I remember, and it worked fine other then the mid-game random crash. I only checked it out so I haven't really played it enough to help you with your problem with it.

I sent them to pistonsdemon36 (eat sh^t Rasheed) but I've got to give him credit for sending me the Ryff files I needed....

Thanks for posting. But I do have one question. Where do you install the files? And when you install them, how do make sure they overwrite the existing files? The directions that Nba2kstuff guy provided are not to clear to me.

magicman32, you should just be able to run the install files, and it should automaticly locate the correct folder for you. at least that is what i did.

I might have them...are they called Historic_more_rosters3.9b.exe??

I think the filess he means are the base files which are missing, these are the one listed in the readme:
For smallest base of complete installation download an install these files into the same folder:

* - historic_setup.exe
* - historic_jerseys.exe
(*) - historic_lastdecade.exe - upgrade for 1988-2002 NBA rosters
(*) - historic_tv.exe - upgrade to add classic tv imagery and themes
(*) - historic_courts.exe - upgraded and optional user contributed COURT & arenas graphics
- historic_ufaces.exe - upgraded and optional user contributed face graphics
- historic_ujerseys.exe - optional user contributed upgraded retro jerseys
- historic_usercourts.exe - optional user contributed decade 708090s COURT & arenas graphics
- historic_60srosters.exe - optional user contributed 5060s decade rosters.
- historic_urosters.exe - optional user contributed extra rosters.

and there are also additional ones like champs, and you one "legends" and hitoric courts(not sure if you added that)

I think we need those roster files listed there and im sure that other roster file

Oh and i never new this stuff existed till this was posted and it just magic! I have started to make my own total update mod for 04 with some of the tools, now i have to find creators of certain files to publish though , I'll probably realease screens next week (and i didn't use the ryff patch as a base since i don't have it ), Its taking a long time to do it though! I have redone all the logos and courts so far. (I hope I can get Rix's permission to use som of his textures though)I am now working on the players!
So if anyone wants to help (i.e jerseys, dbf) that would be great
