So you expect a 66-16 team that has gone undefeated at home all playoffs long to lose?

Cavs will win in 7, Celtics are just too soft.
Allen Iverson passing on family values:

A.I.: son, what you doing there?
A.I.'s son: practicing my math for my test tommorow
A.I: practice? practice? we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test - practice. we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test, not the test - practice.

edit: seems like the refs are doing thier very best to make sure lebron advances. this is fucking ridiculous

celtics beat cavs, take series.

Postby kingjames23 on Mon May 19, 2008 8:39 am

being a cleveland fan, i am still ok with this.... the vets in boston have a smaller window than Lebron does. the cavs will be back. go Boston.

i was actually more worried about the cavs than i am about the pistons so i voted celts in 6 though they seem to want to be the first team to win the title without a road victory so i should have said 7

There's no such thing as "help from the refs". That's too unfair and it only shows your basketball ignorance.

are you serious? even after all this shit with a ref betting on over 100 games HE worked you think there is no such thing as help from refs? do you watch the nba or just tune into the highlights on sportscenter?

You have evidence that all NBA referees are totally unbiased, I assume?

EDIT: I was responding to the post before you edited it but it's still applicable.

not totally unbiased..there are times that they will have wrong calls..that happens..but to say that they totally help a team in order for them to win is too much to say..

To say that they never totally help a team in order for them to win is also too much to say, so why jump to a conclusion?

the refs have flat out handed games over to teams in the past what makes you think thats stopped? i personally believe most of the shit calls are not to flat out favor a team or a player but to keep people watching. if its a game 7 they (the league) dont want to see a game like boston vs atlanta this season. make a few shit calls here and there and suddenly the game goes down to the wire
