in the dunk line just only have 3 or 4 big guy dunks in 1 dunk pack.

same tutorial there isnt much really known about it, i havent really customized it, no one has. you really need to just start messing with it and mess up a couple times. taht is how you learn, not by asking me so many questions

you just dont use the animation in the dunk.act to remove it from the game.

first of all why would i mess around with it for an hour or 2 while you might have an easy answer for me? you know yourself how much time it takes to mess around with it.

I have been messing with it and these guys have been doing some weird things in the game. funny shit.

you mess around with it because its the better way to learn, also i mean no offense to you cause you arent the only one, it is very annoying to "hold someones hand" through all of this. the only big information ive really given you is the dunk list in my past thread, everything else was in my tutorial or available in another guide/tutorial. This isn't my job and honestly I'm surprised I've told you so much. Really I laid out everything you have to do so it's time for you to just try it, and attempt something.

Just wonna say that the 1st release of this mod with the TNT mod makes one heck of a game. And it occupies almost 1/4 of what Live 08 does.

You should keep doing this mod because live 06 rocks.

The gameplay is much better and the sim engine too.

This might be a dumb question, and if it is, I apologize. But would it be possible to edit some of the post moves to where you could do more fakes, turn arounds, and up-and-under moves? I've always dreamed about playing with Hakeem Olajuwon and having him do some of the moves like he does here:

Hey guys!

First of all: great project! Now here's my problem: I started a dynasty and played the first game (LAL @ DEN), no problems so far. But now, when I wanna start the second game (PHX @ LAL), the game is loading, then during the loading bar screen, it just crashes to the desktop. Anyone had this problem before? Any help would be appreciated.

I dont plan to release a new roster right now since the one i did release is so glitched.

I dont know of any shoe patches that are available. What i did was convert the 08 shoes into 06 so that they stopped having a pink reflection.

and again, the roster is glitched. I currently dont have plans to continue on with this project right now.

i tried but i just dont have the time to go and learn everything myself. I can now just change the dunks and lay ups and remove or change some dunks into alleyoops etc. Still don;t know how to change the dunk packs and how the dunk packs correspond with the formulas in te act. files.

i was thinking of doing these things:

-editting dunkpacks so that some guys have their own specific dunks and lay ups in the games. (kobe, lebron, shaq, dwight howard)

- taking out some of the cheesy lay ups and dunks that rarely get blocked

you guys need to realize that both me and andrew want to support this game more but honestly, if its just us two, its not going to happen. we got a great start on things with that starter pack and yet, no one else came through and released anything. no one went out and tried to convert the new rosters themselves, no one did the remaining 3 jerseys that needed to be converted. this was supposed to be a community project, not mine, i dont have the time, or the want to finish this because i was doing most of the stuff by myself.

so im moving on, i put in too much work into this and failed to do anything more than explaining to shaft23 step by step how to mess with dunk packs and everything. im out.

Just to follow up on what Jao said, finding the time has been a bit difficult especially as I've been giving the 07 and 08 updates first priority. I'm not sure I can find the time to update NBA Live 06 as well, if I can get around to do anything I'll certainly let everyone know but as Jao said, this was intended to be a community project so anyone who feels inclined to put in the work and has the time is welcome to do so.

Ok guys, I got rid of the glitch. Something about one of the Lakers' files is corrupted. So I removed all the files that start with 'lala' from my sgsm folder. It works now. By trial and error, I'll find the one bad file eventually.

WEll first of all thanks for the AIACT BETA.....since i needed the patch to start our 06 league again.......the game needed to be somewhat fresh...I worked on this AIACT for 4 hours yesterday, editting, testing, playing games vs. cpu etc.
Here are some things i editted:

- I took out the reverse lay up from under the rim. guys can still do it from way under the rim at the baseline, but it rarely goes in.
- I took out the two handed hammer dunk from under the rim. you know the one every player can do in live 06 default rosters. annoying and cheesy shaq dunk.
- replaced some corny dunks with new ones.
- i put in some extra lay ups for the guards and forwards.
- some ally oops are changed so are the tip dunks. I'm still working on these. Still two more alley oops i wanna put in there that look better than the ones that are already in there.

these changes should make the game feel new and less cheesy. Dunking is easy ofcourse, but CP uses the inside stopper automatically too for rebounds......depending on the dunk rating the player will go for the dunk or lay up.

if you want to get a feel for the dunkpack you must try individual practice with the following guys (JUST RUN AROUND AND DO LAY UPS OR DUNKS WITH THEM FROM DIFFERENT AGLES AND SPOTS):

- Allen Iverson >>>> he can do all of the lay ups and one simple dunk
- Dwade/TMAC/Kobe : these guys are the same basically....they can do most athletic dunks and some power dunks
- Shaq - i had trouble with him , but i managed to tone it down a little. He does a couple of shaq dunks. all dunks are hard...in my opinion he should have the same package as adonal foyle.
- Adonal Foyle - he can do a little something, but not much. few dunks and lay ups.
- wally Szerbiack >>>>> he does mostly lay ups and one or two dunks.

The degree of dunking is ofcourse dependant on the dunk rating.....in the league players will have aconsiderable lower dunk rating so guys should dunk less often. I tried forcing and i could only dunk on the break. i got blocked a lot trying to do the normal lane dunks. Most dunks need somewhat of a lane now. just a couple don't and not everyone can do those.

i only tried the AIACT in cpu vs. human games. You should have a backup of the original. I guess the bug is still there, cause i worked on the BETA version with the bug in it. If someone can also fix the bug in thisone really fast, then i would appreciate it.

It's a community project, so anyone who feels inclined can download the rosters and update them. As I said, I was hoping I'd be able to contribute in that regard but like Jao I've had difficulty finding the time, especially while doing current roster updates for 07 and 08.

i have updated the Gispa roster, it workes perfectly for me(just transaction waives and releases i havnt created any new players) but not sure if im gonna release it. if i do i will release my futuristic bulls jersey

YOu should edit your first post JaoSming. Lightings dont work 100 percent in 06. Try LAgoas lighting for example. Not many lightingshave that weird bug, only Lagoas and 2 of babylei
